Good Morning. I am about ready to hit the shower and head South. I have a meeting today I need to attend, so there was no sleeping in for me.
A week ago today, when Senator McCain announced his choice of Governor Palin to be his running mate, the EARTH MOVED for me. (at age 62, I’d almost forgotten that sensation)
I thought Mac’s speech last night was solid and heartfelt. (and I never thought I’d see the day when I’d leap to my feet and cheer for him, but I did it, and I”m willing to admit it)
I have not had time to read the thread this week, so I’ll just offer good wishes and/or prayers for those in need.
If something earth shattering happened here at ATRW in the past week, will someone please let me know about it.

Here's a suggestion for aq winning strategy.
-Continue with McCain's tirade against Washington's do-nothing Congress. "Change is coming" -Have Palin do the same theme with the Dems in Congress. -Call themselves the "New Republicans" -Have policies aimed at sliming down everything (say "...we can't afford the luxury of a behemouth government anymore") - rattle off statistices on how much the do-nothing government costs and where the costs are strategically hidden by the Dems (in other words - everyone is taxed by higher prices) - Eliminate the federal income tax and replace it with The Raven's modified fair tax.

You are so right. Bi-partisanship = pubbies cave Don’t run on that. We stand for things and we should not compromise.
I agree we should emphasize the do nothing congress; costs hidden be the RATS; and no behemouth government.

Things are a bit hectic here. I broke 2 toes in my right foot,which makes going up and down the stairs a bit awkward.
