Good morning.
Gustav heads inland s. of NOLA, and the R convention plans are on hold, day by day.
Good morning! The sky is cloudy and it is windy but that is the extent of our Gustav involvement. Toby, I just heard your governor on Fox. He is good.
I'm listening to WWL.
On Thursday night did Nobama really say, "I am my brother's keeper?"
What?! Really?!
"Hey, Nobama! Your brother lives in a cardboard box. Are you sure you want to claim credit for that?"
LionsDaughter, who is much less politcal and conservative than I, has been using that as a talking point with her lib friends.
But I'm not kidding. Did he really say that? I kinda feel that I'm slowly getting back in the real world. It is amazing what a good nights sleep can do.
Good morning, darling. I’ll eat the protein on the plate and leave the carbs.
JRandom is putting together a Prayer Ping list. Please let him know if you want to be put on that list.
Yes, that occurred to me too ...O’s brother.Glad you’re better!!
Greg and I are off Atkins for the weekend. Each holiday we go off.
Today we make calzones.
Yesterday we had the best sweet corn. I bought it at a local farmer's stand. WOW! It was excellent. The ears must have been at least 10 inches long, fully developed and $3.50 per dozen.
Oh yum. The best corn I have ever had was when my grandparents lived between Salem and Odin Illinois. We would buy it from the farmer’s stand just down the highway, take it home immediately and plop it into the boiling water. It was great!
Good morning, Jem. I have no idea if he said that. As with everything he says, even something as stupid as that, it is completely ignored, if not silenced, by the MSM. So, the sheeple hear nothing about it, and still think they have a ‘decision’ or a ‘choice’ to make on Nov. 4, when, if they really knew the truth about this fraud, would have enough sense to not even consider voting for the master of illusion.
Colorado has some superb sweet corn grown on the west slope of the mountains, near the town of Olathe, south of Grand Junction. They ship much of it over to Denver and the flavor is so delicious that there are times I don't even butter it. The kernels gently pop as you bite it and they are so tender you hardly detect the skins on the kernels as you chew it. YUM!
If they thought those two lines were so funny, Im surprised they didnt even catch the funniest thing he said Thursday night. As Obama was speaking of the promise of America and referencing a fundamental belief, he uttered a line that should strike everyone as a really funny thing for him to say: I am my brothers keeper.
Looks like a dud.
Wonder if the news media will return to St Paul.
This corn was so good I ate it with no butter.
Good catch, Lysie.
One of the things I like about my computer is this handy little “snipping tool.” It allows me to highlight a portion of my screen and save it as a .jpg. The guy who gave me the computer put Gadwin print on it to do the same thing. But I’ve found snipping tool to be just as handy and very easy to use. I bring this up because it is what I used to get portions of your article.
Dog, I’m thinking of you and of your computer frustrations. Poor you! Is your store overrun with customers? Here, it looks to be a blustery Labor Day. Ooops, I forgot, gotta go hang out the flag.
I wonder if it isn’t the same strain of corn that I get from Olathe, CO? It is the only corn I have ever eaten, besides some special corn I grew in my garden (known as ‘KandyKorn’) a few years ago, that I did not even bother to butter.
Best corn I had was called “Ice Corn” in New Jersey.
They picked it fresh and packed ice around it for the ride home.
I think they thought they, with the great assistance of the MSM, were going to easily sail right into a win on Nov. 4, and now they realize that they have met their match, and they are going to have to work for it.
