Good afternoon, Bit. Did you like the speech last night?

I thought the speech was pretty damned good, considering that the guy running the teleprompter was repeatedly screwing up and she went right on anyway...She seems like a natural in front of the camera, in fact she looked right into it most of the time, unlike Rudy...I liked the lines:

- 'written 2 memoirs but not a single piece of legislation or reform, not even at the state level...'

- '...and after the stadium lights are turned off and the styrofoam Greek columns are hauled off to some lot somewhere...'

The only thing I wish she had mentioned was that Nobama has chaired a Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Europe (I guess Biden threw him a bone back in 2006) and Nobama has not held A SINGLE hearing since he got that subcommittee...gee, anything happening in Europe worth talking about? Poland with the Missile Shield? Anything besides speeches in Berlin??? ;-))

Awesome links, Molly! Wow! What a speech! I honestly don’t think I would have had the guts to face down everybody like that, with poise, class, and humor. John McCain has been BRILLIANT this election season, and he deserves so much credit (along with our prayers).

Lots of MSM reporters up here sniffing around for dirt. I had one of the Obamabots call me at work today to ask me about the "Troopergate" thing (I told then to pound sand). Walt Monnigan (the Public Safety Commissioner Sara fired) is a good friend, I've known him since his volunteer firefighter days 25+ years ago. Bottom line is that Sara did the right thing. Walt should have fired the trooper involved and didn't. The slimeball tazered his 11 year old son! Grrrr...
