Aaron Kay's superior officer agreed to extend the serviceman's leave by one week so he could be on hand for the opening of a new White Castle Then they'll have to extend it another week for him to get off the porcelin throne.

I grew up on White Castle's hamburgers decades and decades (!) ago. There was one near our family homestead in the Chicago suburbs.
Mainly a midwest chain, I've never seen one in Florida where I live. The frozen ones are awful. Now I'm in Illinois for a visit and one of the first things I did was head for the WC down the street.
I had three of their cheeseburgers and a Pepsi for lunch yesterday. I was in hog heaven....um, make that steer heaven. No matter. Fresh, hot and aromatic, I almost swooned with pleasure savoring each luscious bite.
Those who deride these precious little sliders are taste-bud zombies who deserve pity, scorn and a good spanking.
