Good morning!
The stories of the week:Natural disasters...
Hillary: When will she quit? Will she quit?
Obama turns his attention to McCain..
Good morning. How’s your daughter doing in her job search?
BBL
As objectionable as the Obama’s are, the unfortunate thing is that the GOP alternative is only marginally better himself.
John McCain continues to slap our faces. He’s done little to win my vote and predictably, quite a lot to lose it.
I’m sick of the GOP.
Mostly getting good and started. Sending out resume’s and planning for a couple more job fairs the end of the month.
Toby: what on earth happened in Mississippi with us losing that seat to a Dem?
Just heard about that child being left in the airport as the parents flew off. "Each thought the other had the child?" Excuse me! Didn't they notice something was wrong when they fastened their seatbelts and the child wasn't there?
Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down...;-))
Yes, kassie, he is the scariest ‘viable’ presidential candidate I have ever even known of. Considering his associations, I am rooting for Hillary every chance I get. He is FAR FAR FAR worse than even she is. As I continue to say, he scares the life out of me. :((
Good morning,Bev. Heal fast and well.
Well, we weren’t weebles. We went whomp!
Good morning, all!
Molly, did you see the illustration of Obama published by some paper in Minnesota? It shows Obama with a white shirt, open to the waist, emerging from a river with splashes of water and roses around him, while in the background a white horse splashes in the shallows and rays of sun beam down on him from through the clouds.
EXTREMELY CREEPY!
Thank you lysie, I think I’ll have the doughnut and coffee.
Hopefully today is better than yesterday.
Jem, take things slowly today so you’ll be healed when you step on the plane for the states.
It’s still raining...So I’ll not be working in the yard. I have some seeds soaking in some Vitamin C solution...maybe they’ll sprout before I get them in the garden.
Good Morning Everyone.
Is someone trying to tell us something with that nobama poster?
Gag!
So he’s back to being messiah again? Good grief. McCain cannot get my vote. But Nobama might push me to vote for the pubbie candidate against Nobama.
I read that some muslim ? in Florida said that muslims live for the afterlife, we Christians and Jews live for today, or something like that. I read only 1/2 of the paragraph.
When he loses the nomination he will continue to stump the campaign trail for 2012. He is to be watched then dethroned.
As it is currently, I am only going to vote for McCain because the alternative (whose first and last names (without the middle name), are almost always putrifyingly connected as if it is one grotesque name, I am SICK TO DEATH of hearing ad infinitum) is light years WORSE.
Two Thirds, the way that I look at it is that my vote is to protect the nation and our military. Yes, I know McCain is obnoxious and completely loony as regards to global warming, CFR, and the border.
However, he won’t surrender to the terrorists, won’t appoint leftist judges, and will support the military. He also will try to curtail spending.
Looking at our alternatives, I have to accept McCain as the best of the three. I cannot stand the thought of Obama being in charge of the troops and conducting his hate-America foreign policy, and I would MUCH prefer Cindy McCain as first lady to those horrible Mrs. O who is nothing but a whining, ungrateful, hateful person.
So there you have it. I am trying to be enthusiastic about McCain as a protector of the troops, which he will be.
Imagine Michelle O or Bill C roaming around the White House and you can get motivated pretty quickly!!
Thanks for the links, Molly! Bump for later reading!
Amen!!!!
Thanks! You know what also frosts me??? Dan Quayle is a scratch golfer (as in: pro level), and if he ever set foot on a golf course while he was VP the media slammed him. Der Schlickmeister would cheat his hind quarters off to shoot 85, and would be on the golf course even while US armed forces were at war...I wonder what life would be like if WE had the media in the tank for us??? ;-))
