Two Thirds, the way that I look at it is that my vote is to protect the nation and our military. Yes, I know McCain is obnoxious and completely loony as regards to global warming, CFR, and the border.

However, he won’t surrender to the terrorists, won’t appoint leftist judges, and will support the military. He also will try to curtail spending.

Looking at our alternatives, I have to accept McCain as the best of the three. I cannot stand the thought of Obama being in charge of the troops and conducting his hate-America foreign policy, and I would MUCH prefer Cindy McCain as first lady to those horrible Mrs. O who is nothing but a whining, ungrateful, hateful person.

So there you have it. I am trying to be enthusiastic about McCain as a protector of the troops, which he will be.

Imagine Michelle O or Bill C roaming around the White House and you can get motivated pretty quickly!!

Yes, Jane, extremely well driven home points. I really should have been more considerate of his support of the military and not just say that I'm only voting for him to try to keep BHO out of that office. He does have some extremely important good conservative qualities, such as support for the military, judges and taxes.

And, absolutely, Cindy McCain strikes me as one very impressive lady who I would be pleased and proud to call First Lady. That Michelle - seething, angry piece of work scares me even more than the candidate she is married to. You can be sure that hateful woman will be driving LOTS of his policies from behind the scenes.

As far as Hillary is concerned, I do think McCain can beat her, so I don't worry too much about Bill carousing the halls and rooms of the White House. I think Hillary's negatives in the general will overwhelm her, and McCain will win. I'm definitely not confident that McCain can beat BHO.

I think you summed up exactly the reasons that I changed my tag. I WILL vote for McCain, but his complete wrongheadedness on certain core issues such as cap and trade, and illegal immigration, REALLY rankles.

PS. I cannot risk putting the financial welfare of this country into the hands of Hillary, who has managed to go $20 million dollars in debt in just a year in her own campaign (!!), and sees visions of herself dodging sniper fire where there is none; or into the hands of someone too stupid to know the risks of pulling out of Iraq, Afghanistan, or wants to make nice with AhmanutjobinIran, or believes that Americans have faith because they’re “bitter”.

I guess the real question is how can ANYONE with a brain vote Democrat at all?
