How did the sitter interviews go?

I hired a woman I think will work out perfectly. Her brother died and she has taken in his 2 children 11 and 13. So she only wants part time. Long term - part time that is. She seems so caring and genuine. Her husband is a fire fighter. Her hours are flexible so that is great. And she has no problem staying over night so we can take off for a weekend now and then.

I am home from the laser eye surgery - just getting rid of the film over the lens (post cataract surgery 2006). The weather is just NASTY - heavy rain and strong wind gusts along the ocean.....fog on the mountain, etc. He dialated both eyes and I drove home feeling like Mr McGoo!!! I am still not seeing well so I am going to bed ;-) Hopefully, when I wake in the morning I will have 20/20 again in that left eye.

Oh, Bev! I’m glad you made it through that surgery safely and even more I’m glad you made it home. Driving with eyes dilated isn’t really a safe thing.

20/20 eyesight, what a blessing. I hope all pain is gone when you wake up tomorrow, too.
