A daily regiment of eating lean beef and running 6 miles; would go a long way to helping her appearance.

The whole veggie thing simply ignores science. It is ignorant.

There are essential nutrients in meat. The B vitamins. Carnitine. Red meat has higher concentrations of COQ-10, and probably a dozen other things you cannot get from veggies.

The dental structure of man plainly shows he is an omnivore.

Man is not a ruminant like a cow. He doesn’t have the right stomach setup to digest cellulose.

The highest concentrations of bio-available protein is in meat. And especially eggs. Not to mention that the Omega3 essential fatty acids are found almost exclusively in animal tissues.

Like I said. It is ignorance.
That’s what happens when you miss out on those essential dietary components.
Ignorance.

Agreed. I cannot seem to convince any of my veggie associates that they are really endangering their longterm health with a no-meat diet. ...

Cookie-cutter cretins.

These are all high school kids. Was that all that the competition was open to?

People who’ve been on hiatus from meat for 2 years?

Show us the 20 year vegetarians. Show what the longterm diet restriction can do.

That’s just evil...but I like it! I think about 10 years ago there was that story so we should dig it up and start it all over again.

Not to mention that the Omega3 essential fatty acids are found almost exclusively in animal tissues.

Not exactly true. Omega3s exist in either wild fish or grass-fed game. There is a vegetable, purslane, (often considered a weed) which has Omega3s. Also, certain plankton have Omega3s -- these are the dietary source of Omega3s for wild fish.

A lot of varieties animal protein such as farm-raised salmon and corn fed beef are unfortunately quite lacking in their Omega3 content.
