I guess sequels are better than the remakes they have been doing the last few years.

The first Super Troopers film left me with so many unanswered questions. I only wish I didn't have to wait until 2010.

Just more proof that Hollyweird has nothing left in the creativity tank.

The only sequel I'm looking forward to is the new (and last) Indiana Jones movie scheduled for later this year.

“I AM LEGEND 2” (Also known inside the industry as
“I am a Legend too!”)
A remake of the Will Smith hit but this time starring
Barack Obama. This picaresque tale is a hastily-put-
together vehicle for the candidate Obama, partly fictionalized, part of it utilizing primary campaign footagae from his speeches in the states he visited
during the winter and early spring 2008. This one ends
in Vermont, where our Legend goes to visit and pay homage
to his supporters Ben & Jerry. For the first time he sees
the socialist paradise, Vermont, and HE LIKES WHAT HE SEES! It looks to him like a prototype for what every American state could be like. And he likes it even more when he visits B and J’s flagship store and finds an ice cream named after him ——BARACKY ROAD!!!

Most of those are acceptable alternatives to waterboarding at Gitmo.

Hmm...of all of ‘em I’d only pay money to see Jet Li in one of the Mummy flicks. Pray they lose the kid. BTT.

Both "Transporter" movies have been wonderful. Highly entertaining.

BHC III sucked because of the writing. Eddie Murray still "has it," as seen in "Dreamgirls."

I always thought one of the biggest screwups was NOT getting Jim Carrey for "Mask 2." He was unbelievable in that role.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4

Pirate 3 sucked so bad, there has to be a Pirates 4 just to tie up all the ends that were left loose in #3, and to keep Disneyland visitors from avoiding the Pirates ride like it was Small World.

If The Thomas Crown Affair 2 is only one-eighth as good as the classy remake with Brosnan of the older version with Steve McQueen, it will be still worth seeing. I wonder if Rene Russo is going to be involved? That version is a great movie with superb writing and surpassed the original in class. It is one of my favorites.

National Treasure 3: Not a huge surprise, but as the Nic Cage Indiana Jones knock off franchise has proved to be quite a juggernaut, you’ll only have to wait until 2011 for the third film in the series.

Let me guess. The Freemasons have hidden the 200 mpg carburetor blueprints which Hungarian engineer Donat Banki entrusted to his lodge brothers of the uber-secretive Eta Xi Xi Omega Nu aka (EXXON)in the 19th Century.

The Brazilian Job: Ohhh I thought it was a movie I saw on late night Cina-Max, The Brazilian Wax Job.
Sorry, I was really punped they were going to do a sequel.

In all seriousness, Jason Statham is one cool dude!

Not on the above list is the sequel to Transformers, which just started filming.

I take it the cure for what Statham was injected with in Crank is to fall out of a helicopter? I guess when you have already taken so many liberties with reality in the first one, bringing your lead back from the dead for the sequel is small potatoes.

I am looking for the following sequels:

"The Passion of the Christ 2": He's back and not turning the other cheek anymore!

"The Fountainhead 2": Howard Roark travels the world, blowing up anything ever created by Frank Gehry.

The Brazilian Job:

I hear the chase scenes aren't nearly as hairy as the Italian Job.

The Untouchables: Capone Rising: A prequel to Brian De Palma’s cracking prohibition thriller of, er, twenty years ago. De Palma is back behind the camera, and the project is in the pre-production stages now.

Will this film beat the $70,000 draw of his LAST film?
