This is an animated video of a dove that we see in most back yards. As a child, I with a slingshot, 22 rifle and 12 gage shot gun, killed many kinds of birds just to see if I could aim good and bring the little creature to the ground. I didnt kill for food but in adolescent behavior. It is so cruel and for this reason I created this video to show and teach the cruelty of this kind of behavior.

A year or so ago, tryin’ to sleep one morning after a long night shift. Had one of the big ol’ crows kawing away sittin on top of a telephone pole out in the back yard about 75 meters...
Took my AR and pointed that barrel out the window so the shell would eject inside. Dropped that sob like a bad habit, threw the shell in the garbage and went back to bed...
Later on went back there and noticed I got him good. Had no head left on him...

Apparently this is the thread where Class comes to die.How did you get in?
Ducks mate for life and die by the millions on their breeding grounds. The weather kills more birds than hunters do. Backyard bird feeders are breeding grounds for disease that spread when they leave the yards of millions of well meaning bird lovers. Every hunter, through their license fees and exise taxes on gear and ammo...even people buying assault rifles are paying a fee to support wildlife...contributes to the well-being of doves. Next time you send your dues to the Audubon Society, try to envision ol' John James with a pair of Zeiss 8x40's instead of a musket. Won't make it true, but go ahead.

Do you kill mice? Cockroaches? Same principle.
Except that cockroaches don’t poop in my garden.

Do you understand that Doves mate for life?
Doves are the chicken of the animal world. 94 percent of them die within the first year.

You rock, girl! I'm making sure my grandsons are raised on appreciating and harvesting God's bounty. There's nothing wrong with using varmints as target practice. As long as the law is obeyed, then lock and load.

You’re a jerk.
Stalking people from one thread to another to harass them is against the rules. Leave me alone.

Oh, I just did a search on your posts and saw that you were one of the posters from the thread last night. Sweetheart, you flatter yourself far too much if you think that I am ‘stalking’ you. As it turns out, you’re just a total jackass that I happen to disagree with on what would appear to be everything.

The slingshot is a good idea; you can run cats away but not kill them. I years back had a problem with neighbors dogs barking at me continually so armed with a slingshot and small pebbles I shot them and when I came out of the house after awhile they would run inside. Heheh :)
