And....;)
These are such beautiful flowers! I too love Ranunculus. Every spring I plant them. Sometime in the window boxes. I wish they lasted into the warmer weather. It’s one of my first garden flowers of the season!

Hi GeeBee....your flowers in the other post are beautiful! I don’t think I am familiar with that flower unless it is known by a different name....I have seen something similar but not called Ranunculus. There were a lot pictured last night!

It’s funny. I never saw them till recent years. I wonder if they were never available up north because they are more of an annual here. They are sure are beautiful.
Somewhat reminds me of the double begonias which is another favorite. I plant them after the Ranunculous. Lots of beautiful annuals I wish were perennials here. Although, Ranunclus are much more fuller with petals, they have a similar look.

Can you tell I can't wait for spring. LOL!

That display is beautiful. You’re exactly right...the double begonia is what I was thinking about...I have had them and they are gorgeous.
The last one I had though, I had bad luck with it. When I bought the small plant, it had a little damaged stem and I never could get it to heal and grow...finally had to replace with something else.
You all have me looking for flowers this morning and I have found some beauties. Its exciting, for sure!

You are right. The begonias can be so fragile. Once that stem is damaged it’s never the same. I’m going to try them in my window boxes this year. I need to be careful watering. I have over watered before. I think that was my trouble in the past. It made the stems mushy and they easily broke. Temperamental aren’t they.
I’m going to a garden show on Monday. I can’t wait to be around flowers/trees and plants blooming again. :)

Have you ever felt sorry for a flower nobody wanted and it was on sale? That was the begonia that I purchased. I thought if I loved and cared for it that I could save it~~LOL~~
I used to belong to a Garden Club for a couple of years but it was in a very busy time of life, still raising children, PTA, room mother, all kinds of ball games they were involved in and I just had too much on my plate!
My mom could make anything grow! She truly had a green thumb and when I was sort of a beginner, my husband would tease me about having a ‘brown thumb’. It was all done in love and laughter, though! Mom and I never went anywhere in the spring that we didn’t come home with more flowers to plant! I long for that again but its gone forever...*sniff*
Did you see the tulips?

No, I have to look for the tulips. I have to go look.
I can definitely see how busy you can be that it would be tough to be in a garden club. That is such a special memory.
I have purchased a lot of half alive plants :) Good sale deal, if I can make them grow. ;)
