It’s funny. I never saw them till recent years. I wonder if they were never available up north because they are more of an annual here. They are sure are beautiful.

Somewhat reminds me of the double begonias which is another favorite. I plant them after the Ranunculous. Lots of beautiful annuals I wish were perennials here. Although, Ranunclus are much more fuller with petals, they have a similar look.


Can you tell I can't wait for spring. LOL!

That display is beautiful. You’re exactly right...the double begonia is what I was thinking about...I have had them and they are gorgeous.

The last one I had though, I had bad luck with it. When I bought the small plant, it had a little damaged stem and I never could get it to heal and grow...finally had to replace with something else.

You all have me looking for flowers this morning and I have found some beauties. Its exciting, for sure!
