I have a sister who has done tons for me on the phone & the computer. She has also made a few trips to get copies of deeds. One brother started out helping me but has kind of bailed. We think he’s having a hard time handling dad’s eventual death. My other sister was severely abused by dad & has a grandchild she is caring for now & some other problems. Both of my sisters have done the lion’s share of the work caring for our mother. Another brother has volunteered to help with dad’s stuff but I don’t know what to have him do yet & have a hard time getting him on the phone. Our youngest brother is in his 20’s & busy raising his family. We have not asked him for much at this point. When it boils down, someone has to kind of direct all the activity, so generally at least one person ends up doing a lot of work regardless.

Amy, I had to go out and get a birthday present but thank you for your darling greeting. I have tried to look through a lot of your thread today and have enjoyed every moment of it.

So many pretty graphics, pictures and lots of sweetness toward everyone is so appreciated.

I will be going to a birthday party in a little while....gotta go and “bag” my gifts! LOL~~ I don’t wrap much anymore, just bag’em!

Oh dear! What a mess and he is obviously just looking after himself along the way.

Have you consulted a lawyer about all of this? Seems there must be something you can do to protect yourself.

And as I tell my 89 year old mom regularly.. You just might outlive me mom.. and he might outlive you all.
