AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 2236) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | May 7, 2007 | All of Us

Posted on 05/07/2007 4:07:26 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

Gas prices have reached a new high average--#3.07/gal. average Nationwide.

The new French President, M. Sarkozy, a conservative, has indicated he wants closer ties with Washington. Conservative appears to be a relaitve term, however, as he believes Washington needs to take a larger role in countering globull warming. Nevertheless, the new Persident of France said America can count on that country as a friend.

The Optimum Population Trust, an eko-wacko group, says that it should be an environmental misdemeanor if you have more than two children.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

A TOP OF THE MORNING TO YOU CHARIR, ALL, FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA, BRUISED BUT, ONE OF THESE DAYS WE WILL BE BACK TO NORMAL.

TALKING about hot weather, we go it, no wind, just that stuffy feeling, hot as can be and, this is my kind of weather I like.

Ms. lysie, got my flowers planted yesterday, I am really looking forward to the blooming of the Iris’s.

Gotta tell you, I am really enjoying our little church, like the ‘little church in the wild-wood’, always busy for the older folks, yet always busy for the youth and the ones in between. I know it has gotten my back into my youth speeches on drug abuse and that really feels good, like I do have something to offer and that is important for us older folks.

Update on my wee little flock, lost one yesterday and I don’t know how, just graveyard dead in the pen, of course I am going to have to replace here if they still have soom chicks at the store, might even get a couple of geese, good watch dogs ya know.

Pretty soon we are going to have to take out a loan at the bank to fill up the ole car with gas, something amiss here, taking advantage of us and that reminds me, I got to get some gas for the mower and tiller (if I can get that fixed, SIL I have faith in).

Well, gotta run and get some vittles (grits with two eggs on them for strength for my yard word), make a big ole jug of Gatorade and get with it. Here is hoping that all have a good day, or, the kind of day YOU want to have, after all, it is yours.

By the way, thanks to all for just who you are, you bring many a smile to my face and heart.
Toby

Good morning, Toby and all

Got my walk in first thing this morning. I also got all my flower beds, planters, and the tiny garden patch watered too.

Jemian, hope you are feeling much better. Bet you do a lot of shaking and rolling over there.

Toby, thanks for reminding me that I need gas for the mower!

Molly, thanks for articles to read.

Miss Marple, we have a new outdoor stray cat for the neighborhood, my neighbor brought it home from his fishing trip. It is pretty skinny now but hopefully will fill out with some steady food and loving. We hope the cat will keep the possums out of our yards...and maybe the bunnies too.

Good morning! Too bad I’m missing that. My brother is coming up from Nags Head for a visit and taking Mom out to an early Mother’s Day lunch. Won’t be around much today.

Enjoy your day....btw, Roger Clemens is back with the Yankees! :)

Iowa Granny, I sure enjoy your posts about your farm.

Gulfcoast6, I enjoy your posts about your farm and farm critters too.

Iowa Granny, I like to check your weather everyday because you sit to the west of us, so I figure we might get that same weather a day later.

You do seem to be prepared for about any emergency, take care.

Good Morning Everyone. 75 degrees at 0515 and warming up to about 87 degrees this PM.

lysie, I think it’s always the poor who catch it in the neck, minimum wages???, the price of bread and other necessities go up according to the wage increase, floods, it’s usually in the poorer areas of town.

IG, happy to hear you’re on high ground. Hopefully the lower areas aren’t hit. Your corn planting is about 2 months behind us, here, in central Texas. Our corn goes in around 10-15 March. So far it looks pretty good.

Bet you do a lot of shaking and rolling over there.

Since we have some confirmed singles on this thread, I will let this one pass by only saying that we get 'quakes which are felt only a few times a year.

It is late and I must rest. Healthwise, I still get exhausted very easily.

Bummer.......lets hope this kitty grows very large!!

I did read that the possums are attracted to dog food that is left out and we have neighbors who keep a dog on a chain so his dog food is always available.

One time when I lived in the country I had about 13 cats and the possums would go right to their food bowl and eat and the cats would stand about three feet away and watch. The Game warden stopped by and I asked what to do about the possums and he said shoot them.

Back from the bank and a little grocery shopping.

Sheesh! My hip is starting to hurt again. I took some Aleve and I'm waiting for it to kick in before I go outside.

Wonderful links, Molly, and hooray for the French people for turning away (for the time being) from the wreck of socialism!

Miss Marple, I remember reading that you were planning to visit Europe soon. Please do NOT skip France, as it is a lovely country where most of the people we encountered were surprisingly friendly to Americans. They were as fed up with their leftists as we are with ours and often stated how much they wanted to be closer friends to us. As I wrote on another thread, the worldwide media seems to want to perpetuate its own divisions and anti-Bush rhetoric, which is not reality. Maybe our positive experience was bolstered by the fact that we didn’t go into Paris, however, since that is where most of the problems are, I understand.
