Anna Nicole Smith Murder Case: Authorities are now seeking search warrants to access Anna Nicole Smith's computer files because they now believe her death was indeed suspicious.
Although police are not saying publicly that their inquiries have become a murder investigation, it is now become abundantly clear that they are exploring whether the 39-year-old Playboy Playmate's shocking death was anything but an accident.
Seminole Tribe police have met Broward County prosecutors to determine whether they have sufficient grounds for search warrants to the computer files, The Miami Herald reported.
Smith's computers, removed from her home in the Bahamas following her death, might play a key role in the probe of the former Reality TV star's death.
Right now authorities say they have no evidence of foul play, but her death is nevertheless considered suspicious. The Herald reports that police would investigate it as thoroughly as they would a homicide.
Last week, it was revealed that the Seminole police had two new pieces of evidence in the case that they wanted to explore, thus holding up the Broward medical examiner's final report.
Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper has yet to announce what caused Smith's death.
A clear motive is needed for it to be a true murder investigation. A re-examination of some old information could have an impact on that missing piece.
Anna Nicole Smith's longtime companion, attorney Howard K. Stern, oversees a corporation that was allegedly set-up to manage Anna Nicole Assets. Anna Nicole is/was the President of "Hot Smoochie Lips Inc." and Howard K. Stern was also an officer. Since Stern is the only surviving officer of the company, he doesn't have to wait to control any of the assets.
On 4/11/2005, the house of Anna Nicole smith, located at 3646 Avenida Del sol, Studio City, CA 91604, was purchased by Vickie Lynn Marshall (aka Anna Nicole Smith) for $1,335,000.00. On 4/11/2005 the Grant Deed was in Vickie Lynn Marshall's name.
One day later, on 4/12/2005, the GRANTEE (or the Grant Deed / title) of the house was changed to: Hot Smoochie Lips Inc.

I finally had to put the computer on a table and and I have to sit very uncomfortably to read or type. I'm gettin another power cord, but I think it is the port/jack so that will be another fix. Thank goodness I have a warranty.

I still keep thinking of a nose spray or a mask or an inhaler. Something that goes right into the lungs and then the bloodstream. Wonder if Anna had anything like that available??
We don't even really know if she was first noticed as "not breathing" on her stomach...and/or if Daniel was found on his stomach.
If Daniel started to have trouble breathing, could Howard have handed him an inhaler??

I worked at a 350 bed general hospial in Pittsburgh in 1968. The hospital administrator got the bright idea that he would start a program at the hospital to treat drug addicts. Would you believe young black addicts were placed in a six bed ward on the same floor as the general population of med-surg patients?
I remember having to administer methadone. None of us were formally trained to deal with these drug addicts. All this was new to us and we wondered what the $%#&@ administrator was thinking! (I was young and had no idea what a drug addict even was! That were NOT part of our nurses' training in those days.) Other med-surg patients on the floor were suddenly missing money, wallets, etc. from their rooms. I also seem to remember physical fighting among those drug addicts and/or their visitors.
I was working there for only a few months before I had to move from the area, so I don't know what ever happened to the "program."

During the hearing they tried to make it sound as if the will had first been faxed to Barth from Rales home and the machine date setting was incorrect. Didn't someone here post a BAHAMIAN FAX NUMBER to which the will had been faxed? Barth is in Florida, February 3 was Saturday and they didn't arrive in Florida until Monday evening of February 5.
Second...There had to be a request for it. A phone call, email, fax...because how would he know where to fax it?? There should also be a corresponding in coming call with the matching date wherever it was received.
Faxes usually have Cover Sheets where the date is either typed in or handwritten. We've only see PART of the fax. For all we know, it could be from some other communication and Barth attached it to the will. The will itself might also have notations in the margins. Attorneys are notorious for that. It would indicate: "In answer to your question"....
