(Court TV) - A man who claims he is the biological father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter struggled for composure on the witness stand Wednesday as he recalled their tumultuous relationship, which included a miscarriage and a hospital visit to help her kick a prescription drug addiction during her pregnancy.
Birkhead testified that he was nervous and excited for the birth of the child, which Smith told him was his in February 2006, one year after she had suffered a miscarriage of their first child.
