An upcoming 90-minute documentary directed by Jewish Canadian filmmaker Simcha Jacobovici and produced by Titanic director James Cameron makes the startling assertion that Jesus was never resurrected -- a cornerstone of Christian faith -- and that his burial cave was discovered in the Jerusalem suburb of Talpiyot some 27 years ago. One more thing, Jesus fathered a son with Mary Magdelene.
Cameron and Jacobovici claim they have DNA tests, archeological evidence and Biblical studies on their side. And on Monday, Cameron will hold a press conference in New York to reveal three coffins that supposedly held Jesus of Nazareth, his mother Mary and Mary Magdalene.
The 90-minute film will be shown on Discovery Channel, Britain's Channel 4, Canada's Vision and Israel's Channel 8.

Every year somewhere around either Christmas or Easter, someone tries to debunk Christianity. Quite frankly, its getting a little annoying.

Someone should ask him why he's afraid to ofer up a film about Mohammad, his flying donkey myth, his rape of a six year old baby, his mass murdering binges, then raping their wives after forcing them to watch their beheadings etc etc.
He's a coward thats why. It's easier to tell lies about Jesus who only brought the message of God's Love into this world.
I'm taking this whole thing about as serious as I take James Cameron. What a sad, empty and pathetic existence hollow of any true meaning he must live.

Still, the enemies of life continue to gather in strength. True enough to what the bible teaches, that which can be taken as prophecy continues to prove to be more and more accurate. Each enemy who reveals their true nature serves as a warning to the faithful and confirms what they've been taught all along.
In the end, their hatred makes the faithful stronger, which is exactly the opposite of what they intended. How's that for unintended consequences?
I think it's something far more pedestrian myself.
I think it's the work of a man who has spent almost his entire adult life countenancing everything that Jesus preached against sensing his own mortality and trying desperately to convince himself that there is no God.
And that there is most especially no God who is displeased with one James Cameron.
Best of luck with that, Mr. Cameron. You're gonna need it.

This is a documentary that doesn't need an advertising budget. Defame Christianity and you get all the free publicity you want. Hey, what are they going to do about it? Turn the other cheek? It's hip, it's now, it's happening and it can make a film more profitable, regardless of how good it may be.
James Cameron is a fine director and film maker, but he has some terrible personal demons. I heard him once on a documentary and he did not sound like a man who knew God. I suspect those are behind his motivation to try and put Christ back in the grave.
I also lost a lot of respect for him when he cheated on (an eventually left) his wife Linda Hamilton for this bimbo and that one.
During filming of Titanic, he was screwing Suzy Amos (who played Rose's granddaughter Lizzy Calvert). Lind found out about it when Amos answered Cameron's hotel phone one morning in Mexico.
It is not surprising, since this is in keeping with what the Bible tells us will happen.
God tells us one thing, and James Cameron tells us something else. Who am I to believe? It's not a hard decisin to make.

Since we already know that the then-current regime in Israel claimed that Jesus had never been resurrected and that his disciples had spirited the body away, it's not beyond the realm of possibility in the decades before the destruction of Jerusalem that they constructed their very own tomb to point to as proof of their assertion.
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
