Hi, Motley!
I'm very old school.
The Mattel "Fanner 50" cap gun. A functioning revolver based on the Colt "Peacemaker", that has sping loaded bullets that fired small plastic bullets.
There were also "Greenie Stick-On Caps" that were applied to the base of the bullets and made very loud "Bang!" each time the pistol's hammer hit the cap.
Mattel also made a full scale model of the M-16 rifle that didn't fire bullets, but made a lovely sound when the trigger was squeezed.
The Mattel "Marauder" was created and marketed through Mattel's contract with Colt Firearms Co. to make the real rifle's butt, foregrip and pistol grip during the heyday of the Vietnam war.
Jack.

A very well-made original Shirley Temple doll. She was dressed in an outfit from one of her movies.
I saw every one of her films when I was a kid.
Wish I still had that doll, it's worth a fortune today.

Chemistry Set - (Now, that one was a blast, literally! We could make explosives, and there is still, 50 years later, a stain (showing through the paint) on my mother's kitchen ceiling my youngest brother put there early one morning!) The latest "Chemistry sets" are so dumbed down and made "child safe" that they are BORING, BORING, BORING. No alcohol lamps, no alcohol, no "dangerous" chemicals, nothing that can stain...

They were called "Greenie Stickem Caps" and were for the Mattel "Shoot'n'Shell" line of pistols and rifles. The Shoot'n'Shell revolver was the coolest gun ever.

Ahhh, the old Fanner 50. I had one of those also but Mattel only made the holster for right handers. My father had a holster made for the left handed me....made by the Nocona Boot Company.

Hi, sig:
Nikki's a sweetie!
Nikki Haiku
What a huge Litter
Box I now possess.Without
clay that makes a mess!
If I stay right here
no one will see me. Later
I'll go on a spree!
It's smooth and has deep
walls. Lots of room, but no real
traction for my claws
I'll slip out later
when The Big One's asleep. Then
I'll probe shadows deep!
Getting acquainted
with so much space. Learning it
all with style and grace
The Window Sill is
Mine! The Big One will learn this
quickly over time
