Right now, my brown tiger Luvvy (Luverne) is sitting on the table behind me, licking my head. She has lost interest in the Hitchcock film I'm watching.
Other favorite activities of her and her littermate sister Lily:
Gently gnawing on my pinky or biting my nose.
Playing fetch with fuzz balls.
Howling in pain while I sing in the shower, until I stop.
Playing "kissy" (sitting on my chest while I lay down, and offering me each side of her face in turn so I can kiss it. They get bored after about 12 kisses).
Falling asleep on either side of me, each wrapping her arms around one of my hands (they've done this since kittens).
Licking the lid of my Haagen Dazs as soon as I open the pint (no matter what flavor).
Sitting on anything new I bring home.
Crawling into shopping bags.
Perching on the highest spot they can find, then staring fixedly at one spot for half an hour.
Appearing at the top of the ladder to my loft bed with pens in their mouths.
What are your cats' favorite or peculiar activities?
Cats are THE domestic animal that will turn feral the fastest. I get a kick out of the "Hello Kitty" crowd!
Yes, let this kitty lick your pinky!
Oh, that's pain.
I hope you have another cat, or will get one soon. What an ordeal! You need a little furry someone to cuddle in your grief.
I have no idea how I'd handle watching one of my cats being carried away by an eagle.
God bless little Tokay!
I wish you had a video of that. Amazing story.

America's Saddest Home Videos? Oooh, I don't know about that.
What a story!
Breaking the sound barrier:
Trying to get away from Howard Dean:
Murphy lies on top of the monitor, until she either falls of the back (slowly slides down until she's too far to right herself, then she walks out from behind the computer desk where she fell like "Whatta ya lookin' at? I meant to do that!") or off the front, landing PLOP in front of the computer user scaring both her and them. She's a be-otch tho, hates my hubby and boys. I had her before any of them, lol. She's got big big big beautiful eyes, long luxurious fur, all greys and blacks and silvers.
Murphy also gets on my lap when I sit on the couch in the great room and drools while I pet her. She won't get on my lap when I sit anywhere else, nor does she frequent the bedrooms and very rarely goes into the living room.
Furball (our outside cat) is probably off stalking the killer chipmunks and rabbits, so he can bring his offering of gratitude for dry food and water to me so I can find it in the morning. (After he's done tossing it around, oops I mean playing with it) He does take walks with us and our dog (Quick), which is funny. We make quite the sight, Me and Mr., the 3 boys, and big black lab and a tuxedo-marked cat, all walking down the street together. Furball is a strong manly cat, but sooo loving. He greets us everyday.
Sorry so long, but you asked.
I can't see the picture you posted. Do you have a link?
My cat is sleeping half against me and purring. He has a pretty da*med good life.
Another is dealing with the NYPD:
The third one is serving in Iraq:
This works on any red X you see that has the html written right.
Or go to my homepage and view the cat picture.
Good to see you again, I guess I'm gonna have to ping pissant to see what smarta$$ comment he can offer.
Happy FReepin, Silly!
Sadly, I still laugh when i think of this picture. I don 't mind cats or would never harm one, but the "opportunity" someone took with this one is too much.
The other cat Olive spends most of her time outside (she has a heated bed). She hunts anything that moves. She and Rollie sometimes play with golf balls.
Big Baby cat is an old diabetic cat and he is rather aloof in regards to the other cats. He loves to be petted and occasionally will play.
My cat is taking a dump.
Thanks for asking.
ping for the gatos!
LOL!!!!
My cat likes to sit on my shoulder while I'm on the computer. She also thinks she's a queen, so we will sometimes find her holding court while sitting in the computer chair. The dog will be sitting in front of the chair. She doesn't do this as much since my husband started spinning her in the chair when he would see her holding court.
