His daughters go to school just down the street from me, one of them is a cheerleader.....
We see them (his entire family) all the time at Friday night Football games...
Although Jeff's own description of himself is "white trash redneck"

Both are trash.Well, I bought a couple of the Blue Collar tour DVDs and Jeff Foxworthy completely surprised me with this line in one of them:
"If you don't have anything nice to say, then, you must be talking about Hillary Clinton."
I laughed as hard as everybody in the audience, but I was still kind of surprised to have somebody speak my mind like that. :-D
So my reply to you is that one man's trash is another man's treasure. :p

The man has a wife and kids and I can't say that I have ever heard him use profanity in the work he does, unlike so many other comedians.

Actually they do use profanity, They also promote drunken irresponsible behavior. And as for as Foxworthy, I don't like my ancestors (Welsh and Irish sharecroppers) being equated with drunken heathen hicks!

I don't appreciate his redneck jokes. Then you're not a redneck, or else you'd get the joke.
Some of his jokes are out there or simply lame, but a lot of them are hilarious. Some of Richard Pryor's stuff was like that. So were some of Bill Cosby's when he was younger (he's out there in a different way now).
C'mon, son. You gotta laugh at this stuff or you'll cry. It's how human beings deal with insane situations.
