The military air shows that I went to as a kid back in the '60's were always great!

£1.20 for a cup of coffee and £2.80 or a hot dog!

That's almost $2.25 and more than $5.00 respectively!

That's highway airway robbery.

Home early after a long, hard physical work day. Passed on a few great outing this weekend just because I need to catch up on my Happy Housewife Detail......... ugh!

lots of folks out of town this weekend. many combining the 4th day off with a holiday week. smart move.

Hoody is in Cleveland visiting Rocky.. they will try to check in

How expensive is it for a one day ticket for the air show & the corresponding displays in England?

In our area it is about 20 american dollars. Then there are "extras" which you can purchase.. Like a short plane ride.. heli ride etc

I love the plane stuff! But, on a totally different topic, does anyone know how you contact an admin moderator on FR for what you may consider an unfair (or incredibly stupid) action on their part when they leave no record of their action!!! I've had many problems with the mods, and they hide behind their anonymity relentlessly. Even DU identifies their mods, and they're ultra-sensitive to posters who don't hate properly. But I just posted an article about a kitten that survived going thru' a woodchipper, using up about 8 of its 9 lives. I noted that I wasn't sure that it was an FR topic, but late at night it might make you feel good like it did me. The mod deleted it without comment immediately. I would just like to ask why a fairly feel good story needed to be immediately deleted when there is so much crap that is permitted (remind anyone of the MSM?)
