Internet Dating:

Meeting the Parents:

Now, for some fun questions to kick off tonight’s thread!

1. Have you been on a date with someone you met on the Internet?
2. Did the date go well? Did a relationship result?
3. Did you meet them on a dating site or elsewhere? Was it totally by accident or chance?
4. Do you have a funny, gross, scary, or otherwise entertaining internet dating story to share? Either one that happened to you, or someone you know.
5. Any funny or interesting “meeting the parents” stories?
6. Has meeting the parents ever caused a breakup?
7. And, finally, have you ever set up a “backup” scenario to get out of a potentially bad date?

He's running an electric saw. What a nutjob.

Now someone is setting off a whole bunch of firecrackers.

And I thought I was a night owl.

What a horrible nuisance!

Reminds me of college, whenever there'd be a fire alarm in the dorm at 1 or 2 in the morning.

Jeez, really?

I remember one time someone burned a bag of popcorn in the microwave at work and the fire alarm went off. We all had to evacuate the building. We watched the fire trucks roll up and firemen running inside. We were finally allowed back in the building an hour later.

I burned a bag of popcorn in college, too.

That was the one night the fire alarm was real. At least the firemen didn't come, lol.

Fireworks are illegal in GA.

They love 'em in the Carolinas, though.

They're illegal in most of CA, but everyone owns some and people set them off all the time.

It's our job to help those that aren't as good as us.
