It really is sad how many people don't know how the election system works. If they don't like their incumbent, they have to run somebody against them in the primary/caucus.
It doesn't help to complain after the party nominee is set.
I get frustrated with RINOs too, but it's not like I get a vote in every state. If people want to complain about the RINOs coming out of the Northeast, for example, then the conservative base in those states needs to be built up... assuming one exists. In some states or regions, a RINO is maybe the best we can get.

Usually, those folks hold beliefs that are just a bit more enlightened than paleolithic hunter-gatherers.

I look at it more as a state of mind. I go hunting and help my nephews keep up. :0)

Commie troll! :-)
I agree. The sensible course is to inform fellow voters and educate them about conservative principles and ideas - that takes effort and dedication.
The easy path is to gripe and vote for some crackpot.

Unfortunately, the only way I see to totally eliminate trolling is to institute fees for posting rights, so we'll just have to do our best to zot them quickly and without mercy.
Have a good night.
I've got a busy day of drinking and eating tomorrow ahead of Mavericks Game 3.

Or worse... they are going to vote for some Buchananite with no chance of winning and will throw the election to the Democrats who hold zero common beliefs with them.Oh, I think you were talking about Buchananites, LOL.
Also call themselves "Paleo-cons" and "True conservatives"...both of those misnomers.

Teresa... how is your computer problmes? all solved? did you get any help from the FReepers? Even if not Stout , I thought that is was SO sweet to help her Still not completely solved. But as BJClinton pointed out, it could just be me not getting it? Yes it was very nice of Stout and BigSky to jump in and try to help.
To: pcottraux
Buchanan has moven past paleocon and fallen off the radar, so what he says will not affect anything.

I'm here (finally). I had some things to take care of before I jumped online.
The Edmonton Oilers won tonight, I was knapping until the cheering began. Just crazy.
