We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! Movies enjoyed the past couple weeks & recommend to you if the spirit moves: The Sentinel, Inside Man; Thank You For Smoking; Take the Lead; Friends With Money. In the news: TomKat (Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes) had their love child, a daughter, this week. Have NOT heard if he actually did eat the placenta, like he said he would ( I do hope he was kidding) Tony Snow fans await his decision on Monday if he will be the new White House Press secretary
Happy Weekend at ATRW. As the Chair & his lovely bride wind down their second(or third or fourth?) honeymoon at the beach, those of us that remain at our humble homes will chat & share our news & our thoughts on love & life.
Post your short news items, issues of interest, links, and so on. All who advance the Cause are welcome.
LET'S ROLL!!!

Flopping Aces has a great round-up of whats known so far about the CIA leaker fired yesterday, and her numerous connections to Sandy Berger, Richard Clarke, Anthony Zinni, Wesley Clark, and a host of other anti-Bush folks: The Democrat Mole In The CIA Fired.

Hello to hubby!
Well, I think Molly's concert is tonight Dolly. Although I read the rest of the thread quickly and may have misunderstood. Yes, it never rains but what it pours.
We are well, hope you are too.
Thanks for the pings about this, prairie. We're getting lots of storms so I can't stay on long.
Good luck tonight, Molly. I'm sure you'll be fabulous.
I saw the radar looked threatening your way. Take care and do keep an eye to the sky.
No, he left this morning.:(
Prayers for a safe trip and an early homecoming for your son.
I'm sure it will be great!
How Lovely is gorgeous.
Thank you MM. I kinda sorta thought he'd call us from Chicago or Atlanta during a long boring layover but maybe things are moving along faster than they did on his way here.
Thanks Sweetie.

Very slow, indeed.
Good night, John. Have a good, relaxing night.
God bless us all. Each, and every one.

Saturday morning...... The Care Center called at 0400 and said everything is slowing down and I might want to come up.
I threw clothes on and went up there to find my little Mom snoring softly - perfectly at peace. Her respirations are normal (12) her heart rate 94 and her O2 saturation is 90. Dr. Rinehart came in and just shook his head and said "Well Bev, she looks pretty good". I am home now to walk Oscar, get some decent clothes on, comb my hair, etc. I am on my way back to the CC.
Oh yes, I forgot to tell you all one thing about yesterday. I told you she was bright and cheery and up for coffee....well, I forgot to tell you that she also played Bingo! What ever transpired to cause her to lose viability in the L lung, happened quickly. She now has breath tones in that lung.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers, we do feel them. With love, B
Saturday afternoon late.... Hi: She is exactly the same as she was this morning - her O2 sats are the same, heart rate and respirations too. She is sleeping peacefully - no distress at all. They will call me if there is a change, otherwise, I will not go back until early in the morning. I must admit that I am exhausted from lack of sleep.
There is something remarkable about her appearance! Her wrinkles are almost all gone and she has a serenity about her that is awe inspiring. There isn't edema - she is just that totally relaxed. I feel she is already in the Lord's hands. Please continue praying for us.
I went to Manzanita earlier, but not early enough, gas had gone up 10 cents a gallon the hour before. We are still cheaper here than in Tillamook - $2.85 a gallon. $3.09 in Tillamook. Now we will start seeing a sharp rise in food prices. We are being robbed by someone!!!! Love B
