A midweek thread celebrating our entry into the Top 300 Folding teams in the world!
First, a big shout out to the SETI and BOINC members who have added CPUs to the effort. Remember, its Team 36120, NOT Team 0.
Next, congrats to all for bumping our team up to 667 processors and 239 user names. We have a number of new users in the team, with over 50 computers now from GetLoaded.com, a trucking website, all contributing while their owners ply our freeways keeping the nation moving.
After over a year of folding, Team 36120, composed of FReepers honoring Ronald Reagan is poised to enter the Top 300 of 44,000 teams worldwide! This is an incredible accomplishment considering our growth started just two months ago.
Want to know more? Just read below and all will be answered.
This special milestone post is dedicated to Janice L., a friend from Ellis County TX who is in Houston receiving aggresive cancer treatment. She is 36 with a loving husband and 4 children, and covets your prayers.
Ask any and all questions of the regulars who post here about Folding@Home. We will all gather to help you understand and get started folding.
Pinging all regular members of the F@H guild.
I will be off the air for the next 16 hours. Please help us answer questions and keep them CPUs folding!
Go Team 36120! Beat DU!!!
Neither of us will catch Klutz or Malsua, but you will rise to the top 20 for sure.
Thanks for joining today's celebratory thread!
Thanks texas...the growth really has been phenomenal!
Ping for later, have a question to as but have to leave for school.
Well done, Team FR!!
Every time DUmmies get a bump in their CPU count, we come right back (with Klutz' huge help) and totally overpower them.
Let's keep it going!! We're headed for the Top 100!!
BTTT!
Prayers for Janice and a big ol' laundry bump.
I just downloaded it and am now folding on my home PC,athlon 64 3000+ going to work for you.

aft_lizard,
Thanks for joining us! It's nice to be a part of something so worthwhile.
Prayers for Janice, her husband, and her children. May God bless you and your family and guide your doctors to grant you healing.
BTTT
Where'd you get the cool graphic? I've made it to #38 of 239...
YeeeeeeHawwwww
Thanks for joining - it's strangly addictive to watch your points grow...
We're going to be 299 in the next 12 hours or so, still have a few folks to shuffle past.
AMAZING work, we should settle into the top 100 even after many of Klutz's take the summer off.
The science is more important than the score though. My father passed away on Father's day 2005 after suffering strokes and other degenerative brain disease. Maybe this little bit of effort will help someone down the road avoid that bit of misery.
Man, I gotta find a way to get another machine going. (tired of being stuck in the 70's)
