The Free Republic Folders is a team contributing unused CPU cycles to medical research working together to find a cure for cancer and Alheimer's, and many other diseases.
This special milestone post is dedicated to Janice L., a friend from Ellis County TX who is in Houston receiving aggresive cancer treatment. She is 36 with a loving husband and 4 children, and covets your prayers.
Ask any and all questions of the regulars who post here about Folding@Home. We will all gather to help you understand and get started folding.

Neither of us will catch Klutz or Malsua, but you will rise to the top 20 for sure.
Thanks for joining today's celebratory thread!

Well done, Team FR!!
Every time DUmmies get a bump in their CPU count, we come right back (with Klutz' huge help) and totally overpower them.
Let's keep it going!! We're headed for the Top 100!!

We're going to be 299 in the next 12 hours or so, still have a few folks to shuffle past.
AMAZING work, we should settle into the top 100 even after many of Klutz's take the summer off.
The science is more important than the score though. My father passed away on Father's day 2005 after suffering strokes and other degenerative brain disease. Maybe this little bit of effort will help someone down the road avoid that bit of misery.
