"maybe not, but it is FUNNY!"

You gotta love what comes out of the auto translate systems. The funniest stuff is trying to read a Russian newspaper, try it, hilarious.

I was reading a story one time about some radical Italian (if I recall) group. The problem is the English translation of their name was "white womens work shirts". So every time I got to a point that described some destructive behavior I just started laughing.

I ran it through as a another language and it changed "Most we warlock" to "Best me devil". So I'm wondering if "Naj me vrag" is something like "What the hell".

Not that anyone cares, but here is what I tried using to translate. Slovenian and Serbian "kinda" work.

After a bunch of random unscientific comparative analysis I got

"Most of us charming white devils drag slouchy armor"

Thanks for your stabs at this.

My girlfriend is gonna send it to someone she thinks can explain it. I'll post the results here when and if that happens.

For some reason, the words and the cadence of the first line sound to me like:

"Let me ask you a question..."

Followed by who knows what!

I sent the line to a Slovenian(native) translator. I'll let you know when the answer comes in.

"Naj me vrag pocitra," is some form of common slang for a question regarding the phrase that follows. vrag is the intensified name of a general person(devil) doing something, otherwise any name goes in there. "pocitra" refers to some kind of thinking, or feeling by the name in Czech, vrag in this case. "Naj me Bush pocitra," was used in questioning why Bush(NSA) listens to foreign calls w/o a warrent. The form is "What me devil ("pocitra"?).

The last phrase is "guzzi with sagging tits."

Wow thanks!

I guess maybe it's "What the hell? A guzzi with sagging tits!"

Please post what your translator comes up with.

I post it as soon as I get it.

"What the hell"

They use a name in their and the word, "pocitra" applies to the name. At any rate, it's common street slang and doesn't translate as std Slovenian. I did get an example of the use of, "povesenimi joski". A biker chick was describing how she used some tight t-shirt as a corset to perk up her, "povesenimi joski".

Translating is tricky business, especially when your are using street-speak. You really need to be "in the loop" to get the meaning and as often as not a literal translation just does not work.

This is even true in the same language. I just peeked at your homepage and noticed your photo of "Smoke pole champs" LOL that would have a TOTALLY different meaning to me if I didn't see the picture to go with it.

LOL! Yes I know. This phrase is common. The "me" in it, just means it's a neutral indirect question. I'm anious to get "pocitra". I couldn't find it in a dictionary/transltr anywhere, except "white". White doesn't translate back to pocitra. It is Slovenian though.

Got the translation.

"The devil should pluck me in the fashion of a zitherist, what's with the guzzi with the sagging tits?!"

LOL!

A zither is a 30-40 stringed instrument. Strings over a shallow bowl.

naj means a "should" goes in. The devil should...verb me. The verb is transitive so pocitra is, po + citra. Citra is a zitherist. Po is "in the fashion of". So the devil does something in the fashion of a zitherist-he plucks. He plucks "me". The question mark at the end of the sentence means a "what" goes in to make sence of the guzzi with the sagging tits phase.

The ivory tower translator never got back yet. So I found insultmonger.com. I'd put the link in, but... It's an excellent site to learn foreign language. It provides simple phrases that can be analyzed, or used. LOL. I thought some might enjoy it, but not all would.

I was confused about what a zitherest would do, so I asked a blogger in Slovenia. He said, "he plucks". That's simple enough! He confirmed the translation.
