Pukin Dog here, with my 2nd bad cold in the past 3 weeks. Just as I thought I was feeling better, I get slammed again. I've got the Dayquil/Ni-quil, I've got the Theraflu, The Vicks, the Halls, you name it.
I've had so much hot tea, I could float away. The only thing that gives me the slightest relief has been a teaspoon of Cayenne pepper, but that was NOT pleasant.
I got my electric blanket turned up to maximum, shades drawn, looking like death warmed over. Dont tell me about Chicken soup, its coming out my..never mind.
Help!
Try Zycam, its the cold product advertised on Rush's show. Hey, it might work. Feel better.

Claritin-D, and, if you have a cough, sign for some of the cough syrup that has a bit of codeine in it.
Try Zicam, vitamin C, echinacea and cayenne (in a capsule). Might want to try some garlic also.

Make sure you get your zinc, it is essential for the immune system.
There has been alot of research on something called Beta Glucan. Beta Glucan is a carbohydrate found in the cell wall linings of yeast.
Turns out that if you eat the stuff (and it's totally non toxic), your immune system thinks you have a yeast infection and goes into absolute hyperdrive.
But don't try eating plain old yeast.
And when you get better try to stay away from sick people. Try washing your hands as much as possible and carry wipes for them. A lot of disease is actually picked up through touch rather than air.
Sounds like your bad cold went into a bad sinus infection. See a doctor for antibiotics & wash your sinuses out with a salt water solution.
You need a hot woman to get you warm and a bottle of booze.
Then, you just won't care.
Seriously, I worked for a Hungarian MD who swore by booze.
Just don't drink with meds.
