Was there a previous show before the closet one where they directly played Cruise as gay?
I never saw that if that was aired.
Did I miss something?

I'm guessing that episode came out when all those people were big in the news. They've been known to write episodes on Monday that air on Wed. :~D

God Bless South Park for saying what the rest of us only think.

This reminds me of the "Puerto Rico Day Parade" episode of Seinfeld and how NBC wouldn't rerun it because of a scene where Kramer accidentally set a Puerto Rican flag on fire. I also remember the episode where Kramer got beat up beacuse he wouldn't wear the red AIDS ribbin during an aids walk.

Celebrities sue over there all the time. Frequently US celebrities will look for any reason they can sue in Britain. Interesting to note as celebrity gossip magazines and newspapers appear to be far more popular in England than they are over here.

It aired in the US in November. The UK schedule runs somewhat behind the US schedule.

I should have noticed the .uk in the link. Someday I'll learn.

I know, I hated that episode... ;)
It was funny, but, as a fan, I will add the obligatory "I was deeply offended and saddened at the low depths the writers will go to make a buck."
