Cool, the first OFST of the new year. My only standing resolution was to make no more resolutions and I've already broken it. *shrugs*

Reilly is perhaps the best writer SI has. And his obvious respect for the military is heartening in the MSM.

Thanks Dasher. Was having a rough day, and this made me smile, finally.

I have NEVER understood why women would tell people. I got a new perm, I got new nails, I got my hair colored, I got new hooters, I got the fat sucked out of my butt, I got rid of my toe nail fungus.

Isn't it supposed to be natural? Aren't those things supposed to be a secret, supposed to simply enhance your looks?

If I did any of those things, I would never tell a soul.

Ladies, please be lady like. Keep a few secrets.

"Sorry..should have been more articulate! Yes,the United States. We actually ranked something like number 9 or 10"

Should have stated 4th to the bottom of the list. The link you posted in your reply was correct, and I was not! I'm rushing around too much this morning to focus!!! God, I'm going blond...

Although, not all blonds are dumb!

Two bored casino dealers are waiting at the crap table. A very attractive blonde woman from Texas arrived and bet twenty-thousand dollars ($20,000) on a single roll of the dice. She said, "I hope y'all don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude." With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!" As the dice came to a stop she jumped up and down and squealed... "YES! YES! I WON, I WON!" She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other dumfounded. Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?" The other answered, "I don't know - I thought you were watching."

Moral - Not all Texans are stupid and not all blondes are dumb, but all men are men.

I got an hour in a T-38 once. I was PIC whenever we were above 10K feet. Man, that was awesome! I didn't know you could sweat that much and still stay alive (nervous sweat and sitting in a canopy in the summertime in New Mexico).

Got to around mach .95 We weren't in a supersonic corridor so we couldn't go mach 1 but we got close enough.

Didn't soil the cockpit but did let go on the tarmac on the way back to the squadron. hahahahah

Almost got a ride in a TR-1B in England but they ended the incentive rides when the guy who went up right before my turn had the canopy pop and they had to ship the plane back to Beale for repairs. Waaah!!

If not (as I believe), WHY?
