Weee! This has been one rough week. But, hey, we got a new Supreme court nominee *AND* I just found out Mrs. BJClinton is expecting. That's right folks, there's another smart-a** on the way. Alrighty, enough about me, let the silliness begin!

english please. A programmer installed a horrible, custom application component that brought one of my servers to its knees.
... a server that the database folks rely on, who are also known as "quick to anger." Said programmer is not in a very good mood right now.

"The stoners were accepting of everyone."

Reminds me of an experience in Senior year. We had a "new student" show up in a classroom one day. As typical teenagers we ignored him. Halfway through the class, the teacher asked us if anyone had acknowledged our new classmate. (Of course not). Turns out, he was actually an undercover cop (think 21 Jumpstreet). Point of the lesson was that the "new kid" would have issues blending with the "cliques" but no problem with the stoners - and then bust 'em.

They never sent cops after us. It was a quiet country town that believed that drugs were not in their little area.

    Heh..

I heard that the engineering profession is about to be revolutionized...

Apparently, they've trained monkeys to run the HP calculators, to use a Vulcraft catalog and to look up the structural properties of a beam in the latest edition of the steel manual.

Now all they have to do is teach them to dress like dorks and blame the architects and they can take over for the P.E.'s
