Abu Graib Photos
the pierce gazette | 9-30-05 | Ted Pierce

Posted on 09/30/2005 8:26:52 AM PDT by tpierce98

His Arrogance, U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein and the self-aggrandizing ACLU know that the psychotic islamofascists will be inflamed by the redundant Abu Graib photos.

This isn't "censorship".

What's amazing is that there is anyone here as stupid and blind as you are and the few others of your ilk.

Nobody's head is in the sand, except yours!

That's because I dopped a shiny quarter at the beach.

The perps have been tried and are now all sitting in jail.

Some of them, not all of them. Actually, some of the higher ranking folks escaped jail altogether. But they did get scolded. I guess that's sort of punishment.

This is an aberration and publishing the pictures can only inflame our enemies and cause needless deaths to our troops and others.

Oh, you mean they are going to go from really, really hating us to really, really, really hating us? Oh no! Maybe they will actually bring the WMD's out of their secret hiding places this time.

During WW I ans WW II, ALL articles and pictures were censored and rightly so.

This aint a world war. Notice our wide open borders? It's a dead-giveaway.

That you are incapable of comprehending any of this and cling to absurd lefty talking points, is shocking!

Jane's Addiction says that Nothing's Shocking. You wouldn't argue with Janes Addiction would you?

And worse than that, you have the nerve to equate keeping these pictures out of sight, with Chinese and Arab propaganda news?

Uh, well, yes. Yes I do. Is that a bad thing?

HOW DARE YOU DO THAT; BRAINWASHED OR BRAINDEAD, ARE YOU!

I didn't quite understand that last paragraph. I saw ALL CAPS, along with "brainwashed" and "braindead", but I couldn't get the context of the rest of it. I'm assuming it was an insult as those two words generally don't accompany a compliment. Or maybe it was a compliment. Probably not, but anything is possible.

This thread and a couple of the posters on it had my blood boiling. Must be card carrying members of the ACLU, or the "haven't got a clue" club.

That's because the "ad-hominem attack" club wouldn't let us join. You snobby elitists!!!!

We like to call people childish names while pretending to act intellectual too!

These pictures were taken ILLEGALLY, by the same people who committed the actions at Abu Ghraib and all of them are now in jail.

And yes, actions have consequences, consiquences that you obviously don't care about at all. And WHY is that? WHY DON'T YOU CARE THAT PUBLISHING THESE PICTURES PUT THE AMERICAN TROOPS, WHO HAD NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH THESE DEEDS, IN HARMS WAY ?

You obviously also have less than no idea at all, about history and the precidents set lobg before you were a gleam in your father's eye.

How old are you...12?

There were wide open borders during WW I and WW II, pet. Well, there weren't platoons of troops stationed on them, nor what I suspect you think should be there today.

Your smarmy, unclever, illeducated, sniveling reposts, meant, I'm sure, to sound intelligent and oh so above all, are in fact, illogical, juvenile, snotty, and show that you have no understanding of this topic, whatsoever.

Hmmmmmmmmm...so you are so proud of yourself, thinking that any censorship of these pictures is akin to the rewriting of facts and/or the omission of facts, by the Chinese, or the Arabs, that you repeat it and agree that you still stand on your position, do you? Nothing like admitting that you're stupid and proud of it. LOL

Some of the pictures taken, are of Lyndie England performing sex acts with others and having them performed on her. You really want to see those, do you? You think that that's really helpful and that censorship of these pictures is dumb?

It's bad enough that the bad guys are mad at us for no reason at all, but you want to pour gasoline on the fire, just so that you can get your jollies, having them out there. That's deranged and quite frankly, your remarks are those of someone who is mentally ill!

The Brits had code breakers, during WW II, as we did. Following your abysmal lack of reasoning and logic, I guess that you think that that should have been published in American and English newspapers of the time, broadcast on the radio., and hey, why not have newsreel footage of our troops, with explicit directions to where they were, shown all over the world? Wouldn't that have been great?

During WW I, there was all kinds of propaganda against the Germans, published to make those fighting them want to hate them more. Most of the purported "facts" weren't true.

Al Jazeera does that today, using made up garbage and blood libel, to get the Islamonazisz even angrier at us. The lie about the Koran, that Newsweek dropped, inflamed some of the nutter terrorist and DID get people killed. During WW I and WW II and the Korean War, we did NOT post anything which wasn't okayed first by our government.

The Viet Nam War was the first time EVER, that war was brought into people's homes, to see...at dinner time, no less. Ninnies like you, didn't like it one bit and became anti-war. That's what you want now; I suspect. You want more and more deaths of our troops, innocents, and probably more attacks on America's soil. Elsewise, why would you post as you have done?

The ACLU and the Islamonazi prof changed his mind. For all I know, the DNC and/or Hillary made him an offer that he couldn't refuse. After all, trashing President Bush, our troops, and making our WOT more difficult, is what the damned Dems assume will help get them elected.

Wrong again, I LIKE living in a country with freedom of the press whereas you seem to opposed to it.

Do I like that MSM will slime these new pics and bash Bush? no
Do I like that some members of our military where not up to the standards set for them? no
Just because I feel that doesn't mean that the government should be able to control the press when they feel a story or picture reflects poorly.

Illegal pictures of illegal actions. Doh!!!! These folks weren't just mean, but stupid as well.

And yes, actions have consequences, consiquences that you obviously don't care about at all.

What are you talking about? I would never make naked men for a human pyramid. I promise.

And WHY is that?

Because it's just not something I would do.

WHY DON'T YOU CARE THAT PUBLISHING THESE PICTURES PUT THE AMERICAN TROOPS, WHO HAD NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH THESE DEEDS, IN HARMS WAY ?

Because I think you are wrong. Do we not publish an article about yet another postal worker shooting up his office becuase it will make them all look bad? Do we not publish articles about Police Officer abuse for fear that some thugs on the street will take it out on innocent officers?

Heck, we might as well not report any news, because everything is bound to piss someone off, and who knows who they might decide to take it out on. Maybe they will beat their kids in anger ... who knows. Maybe the Chinese model of information consumption really is for the people's own good. I like to think it's not, but you are making a good case for it.

And for the record, the people who would be most "offended" by it are already actively shooting at our troops. What, do you think this article is going to make them start using the "real" bullets instead of those silly blanks they have been firing for the past 2 years?

You just don't want to see the pictures for personal reasons. And that is your right. But making that decision for the rest of the world is just far too left wing totalitarian for me.

You obviously also have less than no idea at all, about history and the precidents set lobg before you were a gleam in your father's eye.

Welcome to the here and now. Enjoy your stay.

How old are you...12?

Give or take ...

There were wide open borders during WW I and WW II, pet. Well, there weren't platoons of troops stationed on them, nor what I suspect you think should be there today.

No, they were flying recon over the West Coast. I don't think we were letting a million or so people filter across the border unchecked. Heck, we even put the legal Japanese in camps. I shudder to think what happened to the illegal ones.

Your smarmy, unclever, illeducated, sniveling reposts, meant, I'm sure, to sound intelligent and oh so above all, are in fact, illogical, juvenile, snotty, and show that you have no understanding of this topic, whatsoever.

Flattery will get you nowhere.

Some of the pictures taken, are of Lyndie England performing sex acts with others and having them performed on her. You really want to see those, do you? You think that that's really helpful and that censorship of these pictures is dumb?

It's not my desire to see them or lack thereof that forms my opinion, it's my opposition to censorship. It reminds me of something Baghdad Bob would do. "Pictures? What Pictures? There are no pictures? Oh, THOSE pictures. They are merely family photos taken at Disneyland".

It's bad enough that the bad guys are mad at us for no reason at all

They might site the whole bombing the s**t out of Iraq and Afganastan and parading Saddam around in his underwear, and making a human pyramid out of unconvicted naked dudes as some kind of reason to be at least slightly annoyed.

but you want to pour gasoline on the fire, just so that you can get your jollies, having them out there. That's deranged and quite frankly, your remarks are those of someone who is mentally ill!

Hey, it's not nice to poke fun and yell at the mentall ill!

The Brits had code breakers, during WW II, .....

Sexually molesting prisoners of war is not a legitimate combat maneuver, and shouldn't need to be protected by anything. Come to think of it, I think we signed those silly "Geneva Convention" things were we took this exact position.

During WW I, there was all kinds of propaganda against the Germans, published to make those fighting them want to hate them more. Most of the purported "facts" weren't true.

If the pictures aren't true, then let it be known that they aren't true.

During WW I and WW II and the Korean War, we did NOT post anything which wasn't okayed first by our government.

Seems like that's the way you want it to stay. I don't. Peeople can have different opinions without being "mentall ill". Of course, you have to be mentally healthy to realize that. Therefore, I do not understand the second sentence of the paragraph I just typed.

Ninnies like you

I prefer "Ninny-American".

hat's what you want now; I suspect. You want more and more deaths of our troops, innocents, and probably more attacks on America's soil. Elsewise, why would you post as you have done?

No. Just like I don't think pictures of Police or Political misconduct shoudl be withheld from the public, nor do I believe military misconduct should be withheld.

I believe in reporting the facts, and letting the people decide.

In other words .... we disagree. It's really just that simple.

Chena...Stu and his ilk don't have a clue at all.

I have an ilk? Cool!!! I've always wanted an ilk.

Wait, is an ilk one of those big animals with antlers that lives in the woods?

If so, scratch that. I always wanted a dog. Yes, a dog, not an ilk.

I don't know.

If so, WHY?

Because I've never spoken to the Head of the Joint Cheifs of Staff to find out what he knows.

I do believe that I know more about disaster relief than the head of FEMA, though. Does that count?

None of what you say counts! You have just proved that you are an arrogant, pompous, rather juvenile person. You don't know if you know more about war and the military than the Head of the Joint Chiefs, because you've never talked to him?

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

You imagine that you know more about relief disaster than the head of FEMA? WHICH ONE, THE ONE WHO RESIGNED ( whose name you don't even know and who managed to do just fine, last year, when 4, FOUR hurricanes barreled into Florida, one right after the other, in a very short space of time ), OR THE NOW ACTING HEAD?

Quite frankly, I bet that there is little, that you know know ever an average amount about and that you are incapable of doing much of anything even adequately; let alone leading others.

No, it is not as simple as we disagree. It's as simple as YOU ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE, YOU AGREE WITH THE ACLU, AND YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT CONSIQUENCES NOR MOTIVESS.

If you're older than 18, you really do need to do something about your posting style and the way you think.

None of what you say counts!

You are 100% correct. The court has spoken.

You have just proved that you are an arrogant, pompous, rather juvenile person.

How sweet.

You don't know if you know more about war and the military than the Head of the Joint Chiefs, because you've never talked to him?

That's right.

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I used to have a sticky keyboard too. I recommend the Microsoft Wireless keyboard. It has been fairly reliable, although I still can't find one that corrects my typos.

You imagine that you know more about relief disaster than the head of FEMA?

I think the average hamster knows more.

WHICH ONE, THE ONE WHO RESIGNED ( whose name you don't even know and who managed to do just fine, last year, when 4, FOUR hurricanes barreled into Florida, one right after the other, in a very short space of time ), OR THE NOW ACTING HEAD?

The one who just resigned, who's name I do know. Hurricanes happen every year.

Quite frankly, I bet that there is little, that you know know ever an average amount about and that you are incapable of doing much of anything even adequately; let alone leading others.

Your opinion is duly noted.

Just curious, does the above statement apply to my "ilk" too?

Yes it is.

It's as simple as YOU ARE ON THE WRONG SIDE, YOU AGREE WITH THE ACLU, AND YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT CONSIQUENCES NOR MOTIVESS.

No, I hate to tell you this, but it really is just as simply as: We disagree. Sure, it's human nature to think that anyone who disagrees with us MUST be mentally insane, a criminal, uneducated, or impaired in some other way, shape or form. But the fact is, most of those who disagree with us are perfectly fine people who just disgree with us.

It's a tough pill to swallow. And takes some years to come to the realization, but eventually it hits you. You realize that you don't know everything, aren't the authority on everything, and that the folks who disagree with you are just fine folks .... who disagree with you. It kind of hits around the same time that you realize that you have been taking yourself far to seriously for far too many years. It's generally called "maturity" or some such similar word, and can occur at different ages, but for most adults - it eventually does dawn upon them.

I'm sure you are a very fine upstanding person, in perfectly good mental health. And I'm also sure that you disagree with me. And that's okay. It's what makes a free country great.

If you're older than 18, you really do need to do something about your posting style and the way you think.

I've considered your request, and it is respectfully declined. I do appreciate the consideration though.
