irregardless of the spelling of Sherbet, Orange Sherbet will always be Orange Sherbert to me ;)
My biggest is a toss up between: people who don't turn their lights on in rain, fog, dawn, dusk, night, tunnels, etc and people who don't buckle their kid's seat belt.

OK, to clear up the sherbert/sherbet...According to Merriam-Webster, the "r" is an acceptable variant.
Argh...I've become my own pet peeve!
To: Fierce Allegiance

People who do not question their political leaders but blindly follow them.
People who argue for arguments sake.
Lobbyists
People, when shown the truth, ignore it.
People who are arrogant and elitist,

ooh ooh, I've got another one: My co-worker who hugs her purse and takes it everywhere with her. I bet she's got stolen money, or valium, or a dildo in there. Drives me batty.
To: RockinRight
For starters ....
1). Pettiness
2). Animosity
3). Crybabies/whiners
4). People who use the phrase "Yes, BUT...!"
5). Poor customer service
6). People who love to contradict
7). A cart loaded with groceries in the 10 items or less line
8). Thieves of any kind
9). People who ignore/neglect/exploit old folks.
10). democRATS on the whole (yeah, that's redundant, I know)
not necessarily in that order

"I saw a guy the other day with a "Dukakis/Bentsen '88" sticker...I'm dead serious. It was about an '83 or '84 Escort and the sticker was very faded"
What that tells me about the person is they are nerdy cheap and lazy like men and women who wear scuffed up dusty shoes in which the shoe color doesn't even compliment their outfit for the day. I see that and I run not walk away from them.
