It is pretty simple and I think it looks nice.
After I feel really comfy with the simple ones, I may try for something a little more elaborate. (Then I'll be calling on you again.)

There was a man who had worked all of his life and had saved all of his money. He was a real miser when it came to his money. He loved money more than just about anything, and just before he died, he said to his wife, "Now listen, when I die, I want you to take all my money and place it in the casket with me. I wanna take my money with me when I die."
So he got his wife to promise him with all her heart that when he died, she would put all the money in the casket with him.
Well, he died. He was stretched out in the casket, the wife was sitting there in black next to her closest friend. When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said, "Wait just a minute!" She had a shoe box with her, she came over with the box and placed it in the casket.
Then the undertakers locked the casket down and rolled it away. Her friend said, "I hope you weren't crazy enough to put all that money in the casket."
She said, "Yes, I promised. I'm a good Christian, I can't lie. I promised him that I was going to put that money in that casket with him."
"You mean to tell me you put every cent of his money in the casket with him?"
"I sure did," said the wife. "I got it all together, put it into my account, and wrote him a check."

Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep (anon)
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

I have a couple of errands to run.
I hope to be back before too late, but my errands are in Fresno and it is a minimum of an hour driving time.
See you when I get back.

Happy Morticians Day, everybody.
An artist asked the gallery owner if there had been any interest in his paintings on display at that time.
"I have good news and bad news," the owner replied. "The good news is that a gentleman inquired about your work and wondered if it would appreciate in value after your death. When I told him it would, he bought all 15 of your paintings."
"That's wonderful," the artist exclaimed. "What's the bad news?"
"The guy was your doctor."

Wow .... that sounds like a big job.
Why don't you move to California .... I need my french doors replaced or maybe just someone who can replace the weatherstripping between the two doors.
Glad you had a good day. Enjoy your evening.

Hey, how about some music? It's quiet around here. ;-)

Move to California again? Whew, I lived there in the early 80's..
Lived in Anaheim and Placentia by Cal State Fullerton..
Na, to crazy for me, plus the ground moves and houses slide down hills..
I'd rather put up with snow and fight the politicans

Did you like the song?

"the ground moves and houses slide down hills.."
In FResno, we don't have any hills for the houses to slide down. The ground moves once in awhile but not very much and not often. Ground moves just enough to keep it interesting. :)
We didn't feel either of the two latest ones. They were too far away.

Yesss ..... that is a very good song by Connie Francis.
I was wondering why I wasn't hearing anything .... I turned my sound down last night so it would not bother Marissa. She is playing Maisy now.
I needed to go by the post office, drug store and bank today so I went by Circuit City and bought a 120 gig external drive but it will not be in until tomorrow. I need something other than CDs to do backups. I'm afraid I'm going to lose some important files. :(

To: Victoria Delsoul
My son told me to get an external hard drive for backup. He also said to get one large enough to do a complete backup. They are getting relatively cheap. I hope I bought the one he told me to, it only cost $70. It's larger than the internal drive that I'm using now.
I hope to take some things off my C drive to see if clearing some space will speed this thing up a little.

Oh, I see. That's great, Amy. So you don't need to install it, right?
