Is that really cinematic though? The Mathematicians are at war with the Statisticians! Throw in Robert Silverburg as someone who's not gotten the cinematic adaptations he deserves.

Sure. Narrator voice-over to explain who Harry Seldon is, then take it from there. Power struggles, lot's of action, wars in interstellar space....
It's a three-parter, too. Get someone who looks like Clinton for The Mule. I always suspected he was The Mule anyways.
