Me, for one. Zot! How many pro-life Schiavo supporters are in favor of the war?

Posted on 03/24/2005 10:18:36 PM PST by popop

I hear so many of you talk about the sanctity of Schiavo's innocent life... why, then, can you support the war in Iraq which has taken thousands of lives, many innocent?

Can you explain why Schiavo's life is worth more than those killed in the war? I am not trolling, just interested.

I suppose you think Saddam should still be in power along with his two lovely sons, shredding, raping, skinning, shooting, gassing, burying alive, poisoning, dogbiting, lioneating, etc etc upwards of a million citizens?

What do you think of all that? He should still be running Iraq?

The war in Iraq just so happened to have stopped the systematic butchering of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis conducted for Saddam's personal jollies. No war has ever been clean. have civilians been killed by accident? Yes. Is that regrettable? Yes. But a bloodlusting dictator can no longer use a nation as a puppet for his own bloodlust.

Ask the Jihadi psychos that are in Iraq killing innocent people indiscriminately, then get back to us with their response.

Saddam was aiming for you and me, pal. I don't think Terri was. I guess we should have just let Saddam stay in power.

There is such a thing as a just war. If Saddam had been allowed to remain he power he could have killed many more innocent civilians than were killed in that war, in addition to keeping the whole population suffering under his thumb. He would also have become a greater threat to our nation. Starving Terri Schiavo to death doesn't have the slightest potential to take out any brutal dictators, grant anyone democratic freedoms, save anyone else's life, or protect are nation. Furthermore, at the times when the actions of the U.S. military in this war harmed civilians they were accidental. The military tries hard to avoid such happenstances. The death of Schiavo is completely intentional, ordered and upheld by United States judges.

It takes a supremly stupid person to equate what's happening to Terri and taking out that murderous bastard Sadaam.

Hey DUmmy,

I bet you also get upset over all the poor little convicted killers that are sentenced to lethal injection.

Why do lefties always have empathy and sympathy for the guilty--but refuse to have feeling for the innocent and helpless?

Medical ethics, corrupt judges, war and declaration of war, diplomacy, foreign policy, genocide, weapons of mass destruction, jihad, military force, invasion of neighboring countries, and genocide do not equate.

I suggest you stay awake in school.
