I suppose you think Saddam should still be in power along with his two lovely sons, shredding, raping, skinning, shooting, gassing, burying alive, poisoning, dogbiting, lioneating, etc etc upwards of a million citizens?

What do you think of all that? He should still be running Iraq?

Saddam was aiming for you and me, pal. I don't think Terri was. I guess we should have just let Saddam stay in power.

You don't think the right of self determination is worth defending and fighting for?

There is such a thing as a just war. If Saddam had been allowed to remain he power he could have killed many more innocent civilians than were killed in that war, in addition to keeping the whole population suffering under his thumb. He would also have become a greater threat to our nation. Starving Terri Schiavo to death doesn't have the slightest potential to take out any brutal dictators, grant anyone democratic freedoms, save anyone else's life, or protect are nation. Furthermore, at the times when the actions of the U.S. military in this war harmed civilians they were accidental. The military tries hard to avoid such happenstances. The death of Schiavo is completely intentional, ordered and upheld by United States judges.

It takes a supremly stupid person to equate what's happening to Terri and taking out that murderous bastard Sadaam.

Hey DUmmy,

I bet you also get upset over all the poor little convicted killers that are sentenced to lethal injection.

Why do lefties always have empathy and sympathy for the guilty--but refuse to have feeling for the innocent and helpless?

Innocent casualties have been reduced to a minimum. We could have justly bombed the whole of Iraq, instead of putting more American lives at risk. Go back to DU commie.

"By any rational standard of morality, any wartime harm to the most innocent of Iraqis is entirely the responsibility of their government. Our moral right, and responsibility, is to do everything possible to safeguard American lives, however many civilian casualties that goal may require. We may lament the loss of innocent Iraqis during the war, just as we lament the loss of innocent Americans. But we should not apologize, since the blame, in both cases, rests entirely with the enemy, who made it necessary for us to wage war to defend ourselves against his threat." -- P. Schwartz, here: http://www.capmag.com/article.asp?id=2659

I support the war. You, on the other hand, apparently support both the murder of Shiavo and the murder of 300,000 + Iraqis by the Baathist regime of Iraq. Maybe you even have your very own industrial-sized plastic shredder in your basement just in case the deathocRATic party ever gets back in control and you get named to be the head of their MukhabaRAT. Then you can make mulch out of all the weak and defenseless people you like.

Were you around when the left was ignoring the murder of millions of Ukrainians by Stalin and later, the mass murders of Cambodians by Pol Pot or was all that before your time? Lefties were tripping all over themselves in their eagerness to support these regimes.

Maybe you would be for this war, too, if we promise to "humanely starve and dehydrate" all the unlawful combatants?

How many of you who oppose the defense of our nation support the abortion murder of 1,300 children each day.
