Lol, that's me.
Oh, oh. Got a conflict of info - see below.
We sang this song in HS choir from a medley of songs from Porgy and Bess.
I Got Plenty o' Nuttin
Lyrics by: Ira Gershwin
Music by: George Gershwin
Arranged By: Nelson Riddle
Album Title: The Capitol Years, Disc 2
From the Album: A Swingin' Affair (1957)
From the Show: Porgy and Bess (1935)
Label: Capitol Records
Recorded: November 15, 1956
LOL! I haven't crossed that line yet. ;-)
It'll be sooner than what you expect, lol.
I found different info on two sites ..... I'm not sure which is correct.
1. Artist: Frank Sinatra - I Got Plenty of Nothing
Writer(s): heyward/gershwin/gershwin
2. I Got Plenty Of Nothing
A Soundtrack From The Great 1927 Broadway Musical "Showboat"
Lyrics By Oscar Hammerstein, II
Can't trust anything you find at Google *smile*
Good evening, DD. How are you this evening? Did you get as much rain as we did? Since yesterday, we got about 1 1/2 inches. Enough to flood many of the country roads.
LOL!
Lotsa rain. finally stopped - for now. The ground is soooo wet, the worms are crawlin around in the street.
I can't look at that for too long or I'll get dizzy. LOL!
LOL
By this weekend, we won't be able to walk; we'll be slippin and slidin from all the squishy worms.
LOL - you're not supposed to look at it for too long.
I'm back. I got side-tracked working on some things for my class. LOL!
Oh, I thought you fell asleep by looking at the graphic for too long, LOL. Just kidding.
;-)
That means, yes?
I didn't fall asleep. I just became mesmerized. LOL!
Ooooh, I see. OK. :-D
I better get some sleep. Good night!
Me too. Nighty night all, see you tomorrow.
Good night you two.
I guess that it is past my bedtime too.
I've spent enough time on accounting stuff today. It can wait until tomorrow.
See you Thursday.
