I know all about snow and ice. I have no problems driving on it. I hate it because 90% of the other drivers are clueless as to how to drive on it.

Somewhere in the Himalayas in India. I found Spiti on this map in the north near the eastern border, maybe it's near there...

They can both be very beautiful, but sometimes dangerous.

On Your Birthday
Unknown

May your spirit keep the freedom
of a butterfly in spring
and your heart be filled always
with the joys of simple things.
May your essence claim the freshness
of the new laid morning dew.
All of this...and more...
is my Birthday wish for you.

Have a very Happy Birthday, Alamo-Girl!

If they would pay me overtime it would be a great idea. I think my request might have the opposite consequence though.

The Spiti Valley is a remote mountain desert region in the Himalaya, lying in the North East of the Indian hill state of Himachal Pradesh, and forming part of the Lahaul and Spiti district. Thick ice and heavy snow fall on Rohtang La and Kunzum La Passes render the Spiti Valley inaccessible by the northern route via Manali or Keylong for seven to eight months of the year. Access is still possible during winter by the southern route, via Shimla and the Sutlej Valley in Kinnaur district. Spiti has a distinctive Buddhist culture similar to that found in Tibet and the Ladakh region of India.

And according to C.G. and I they have giant crawdads from outer space that build giant mudtowers...
