Rush sounds depressed today. I hope that is not bad news.
Let him state his opinion. You guys act just like the libs, wanting to control who can post whatever. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT.
Rush IS sounding exactly like the day before the 1992 election. So just stick your head in the sand, but quit trying to control the board.
Come on. He does not.
He's disappointed that it's even close, as am I. But to say he's resigned is just plain WRONG!
I think we all need to be uspet that Kerry is this close. It is quite possible that there is going to be a President elected not by the people but by media. This is close and close wins it for Kerry, sorry just the way it is and Rush is smart enought to know it.
YIPPY SKIPPY!!!!! BUSH will be er-elected for another 4 years!
I'd agree with Airborne. Until today, the election has always seemed at least a week away. Now, all of a sudden, it's on top of us, within 24 hours. Rush is no longer joking around, not because he's depressed, but because he's got 24 hours to wrap up his work before he, like the rest of us, crossed fingers and watches the stats come in. Heck, I'm a little nervous myself.
I do not have my head in the sand, or up an orifice as too many do at FR...the declarations of LANDSLIDE, and other such silly nonsense. It is neither defeatist, nor foolish to simply express concern. I am concerned, and you are too foolishly optimistic.
That's right, not "one" posting of the truth about him becoming a mormon, moving to Utah and marrying 15 wives.
Of course the 15 women might make him tires on some mornings for sure...:-)
Yes, you should start a new vanity thread in breaking news and tell us all about it!!
lol
Rush is wearing a sombrero?
It looks like Bush has NM, FL and IA. That gives him 266. Winning any of the following states should win for him:
1) New Hampshire
2) Ohio
3) Wisconsin
4) Minnesota
5) Michigan
6) Pennsylvania
7) Hawaii
The recent polls showing the race getting closer are either polling problems or the result of actual momentum towards Kerry. What would explain the latter?
The last several elections the incumbant president has scored 3 or 4 points above his JA. Bush's JA is just about 50. Battleground has Bush ahead by around 4 points and has Bush's JA at 53. Battleground was extremely accurate in 1992 and 1996. It was off in 2000 because of the DUI thing. It will be off this year too if there really has been movement towards Kerry, but the only thing that's happened recently is the bin Laden tape. It's difficult to believe that this would be helping Kerry.
Because it makes them feel all drama-queeny. How many posts do we have to read "I'm feeling down"? WHO CARES if you folks feel down! Since when are we the ones who groove on feeeeeeeeeelings? This is a site for posting thoughts and analysis. Those folks who wanna droop, go to Gloom Republic.com
Sheesh, we're now reading Limbaugh's mood as an indicator of which way the election is trending? Come on folks, take a pill. The 2 important daily tracking polls, Rasmussen and Zogby, are showing things having moved a bit Bush's way these last 2 days. Let's relax.
Rush is VERY tired,.....as also are MANY others.......hours on hours on hours....
Everyone will get rest in a couple more days.....
Nice cheap shot ahole!
Go to Doomandgloom. com for the reason.
I'm scared silly - very nervous here... these polls shouldn't even be close!
i just hope all these depressed people vote for bush before they pull themselves out of the gene pool
I'm looking forward to turning him on in about half an hour. (Yeah, sounds weird, but due to scheduling I can listen to him live for only the last hour).
