Snow in January .... that will be a treat if we don't freeze to death. :)

I've been checking out warmer clothes. We wear sweaters and lightweight jackets here in the winter.

Hmmm ....... I think I need to look for gloves.

Actually, sweaters and light-weight jackets are usually sufficient here as well, but note that I said and.

It really depends on whether you expect to spend any appreciable amount of time outdoors, or walking about. Going from the car to the building doesn't count.

I'm fine. A little tired. I'm just taking a study break. How are you doing?

Depending on the weather, we may take Marissa to the zoo. I think she would enjoy that.

We plan to do a little sight-seeing.

That was the zoo where Smoky (Bear) lived for many long years. It's a very big place, and much more impressive than the Baltimore zoo.

Recent advertisements indicate that they have added dinosaurs to the Baltimore zoo list of attractions, but I think there may be some exaggeration going on.

I have spent one winter in the southern part of IL, and we just got a few inches of snow the whole season. We mostly had ice storms. The worst was when I had to chip a two-inch layer of ice off of my car. Up in northern IL, it gets a whole lot colder and there is a whole lot more snow. But I can deal with lots of snow and blizzard-like conditions. I just don't like ice.

Yay! I don't know what's going on with mine. My clock started losing time today.

We get it all.

In quick succession. If it gets really bad, you can just wait for it to change.

A few years ago when I was going to school just outside of Chicago, I was driving to my parents' house for one weekend. Shortly after I left, it started raining. After about a half hour it turned to sleet. Then after a half hour of sleet it started snowing so badly that I could barely see in front of me. But my little car managed to get me home safely. :)

I hope it isn't either. I have a virus detector and it updates itself every time I connect to the internet. So hopefully it will catch it if I do have one.

I have the game on. I'm not partial to either team. LOL! But I can see why you're rooting for the Yankees. :)

Well, if the Astros win, it will be Texas vs. Massachusetts in the World Series.
