The United States is a mess. I want to put God back as the foundation of this country. You should to. The Republicans have failed sohave the Democrats too. We must save America!
Well I am very glad you can find the wording of the Declaration of Independence....
However, they needed to be praying. They were taking on the foremost military power in the world at the time. They NEEDED all the help they could get, and they got it obviously.
Still doesnt mean our government was founded on God. We are a Constitutional Republic, not a Theocracy.
Reread what I said please....
The Declaration was not the basis for our government. It was never meant to be.
Asking for approval is different than designing the government having God as the foundation. But it's ok, believe what you wish, it is a free country.
The initial point you were responding to was that the country, not the "government", has God at its foundation. The Declaration represented the founding of the country, stated in the most authoritative terms you could ask for.
ok lets see here...
he wants to put God at the foundation of the country and he is talking about a national election. It isnt a stretch to see that he means making God the foundation of the government, at least that is how I read it and that is exactly what the founding fathers wished to avoid.
because the Constitution makes shows indifference to the rights of people of all religions....
If they were a true Constitutionalist party, they would know this.
I am guessing you are a Constitutionalist yourself?
That didn't come through very clearly. The Constitution isn't "indifferent" to anybody's rights. It emphatically protects them. And in so doing, it doesn't discriminate on the basis of religion. The Constitution Party understands that, and that's not what's being disputed.
Abortion should be illegalized, and where does it say it's an invasion of privacy anyway?
It is past your nap time.
People were told to "Vote for Teddy Roosevelt" instead of Taft. We ended up with Woodrow Wilson, WWI, Jim Crow and a number of other nasty things.
People were told to Vote for Perot. We got Clinton.
And sitting at home?
People did it in 1976. We got Carter.
Sorry, the bill the we are still paying for this kind of stupidity is far too high.
An unborn baby is a living thing that breathes just like you and me
"An unborn baby is a living thing that breathes just like you and me."
First you may want to figure out exactly how a baby 'breathes just like you and me' in the womb. That statement just make you sound silly, becuase it's obviously incorrect to anybody who understands how they do get oxygen.
Secondly, how does that make violating the constitution with an EO right? Especially if this guy is running on the constitution part ticket. That's the real problem.
Your candidate is a joke. Sorry to have to say it, but it's true. His big issue is a direct violation of the constitution.
So your saying, that killing anybody anytime is o.k. I am smart enough to know that if a baby in the womb can cough it can breath. What if when you were born your parents said, "no, we don't want you."
And I'm sorry to say sir ," you are a liberal!
First, you said a fetus breathes just like you and I do. It does not. Unless you breath by absorbing oxygen from blood via an umbilical cord. Attached to a placenta that you have sitting around. Do you??? If so, please attach pics of yourself as proof.
Come on, get a biology textbook! 'Coughing' isn't the same as breathing in the womb. How does the oxygen get in there? Scuba gear???
You sound as ignorant of human biology as your presidential candidate sounds about the constitution!
Second, it's not about 'kill anybody anytime'. There is nothing in the constitution to either give the federal government the power to outlaw abortion or to say states can't outlaw abortion. That is why roe v. wade was flawed. Your personal wishes do not have the power to override the constitution of the US when you feel like it.
Outlawing abortion based on one of the most tenuous 5th amendment arguments ever just makes the constitution a joke. I'd say it makes the constitution party a joke, too, but they've already done that with their presidential nominee.
When I cough air comes out of my mouth. When I laugh, air comes out of my mouth. The same in the womb. The government protects elders, adults, kids (yes, even the unborn ones). The government's first priority is to protect the people, not kill them.
If you think killing a living human being is o.k., then your the joke not me. There is air in the mothers blood stream so yes, a baby breathes. Just because they don't breath still doesn't mean anything! What if a baby that was aborted just a little while ago was the future president. Huh?
