 Gods Gifts,

Youve blessed us in so many ways,
We all should thank You dearly.
And those of us, who see Your work,
 Do understand more clearly.
You gave to us the gift of life,
 Surrounded us with beauty.
We owe to You, all that we have,
To Praise You is our duty.
The mountains high, the rivers wide,
 The oceans deep and blue.
The birds and trees, the Universe,
Were all put here by You.
I promise I will do my part,
 To help Your children see.
The wonders of Your love and grace,
 Bestowed on them and me.
Thank you Father for these gifts,
 Thank You, for every day.
Please guide me on my journey here,
Its in Your Name, I pray.

 Reflections

God sets a mirror down for us,
 To bounce back sunny days,
He does it when the rain has passed,
To help us see the rays.

The reflection that we see in it,
Is not of hair and skin.
What we see is an image of,
 The gloried state were in.

 Light pink, and brighter orange,
 And yellow brighter still.
I sit and look at glorys frame,
 Upon my favorite hill.

 The others call it rainbow,
But I know what it is,
A magic mirror in the sky,
That lets us know were His.

The body that we occupy down here,
 Is nothing like its start,
For one, the most attractive thing,
 Has always been the heart.

God looks into our heart and then,
 Just for His own amusement.
He gives a glimpse of what He sees,
 And laughs at our confusement.

That doesnt look at all like me!
 I hear your protests start,
But when you look at other folks,
How can you see their heart?

 If you admit theres beauty,
 Reflecting from some source,
Just think how glorious it will be,
 When Hes revealed full force.

And you and I are with Him,
 And joining in the glow.
Next time you see a rainbow,
I thought you ought to know.

 Cherished Friends

God must have known there would be times
We'd need a word of cheer
 Someone to praise a triumph
 Or brush away a tear.
He must have known we'd need to share
 The joy of "little things"
 In order to appreciate
 The happiness life brings.
I think he knew our troubled hearts
 Would sometimes throb with pain
 At trials and misfortunes
Or some goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need the comfort
 Of an understanding heart
To give us strength and courage
To make a fresh, new start.
 He knew we'd need companionship
 Unselfish...lasting...true,
And so God answered the heart's great need
 With CHERISHED FRIENDS....like you..

    Ask

If you ask,
Hell give you living water,
If you ask,
Hell give you a new life
If you ask,
Hell change your life forever,
If you ask,
Hell give you perfect peace,
If you ask,
Hell give you wisdom,
If you ask,
Hell assign you a place in paradise,
If you ask,
Hell give you faith to believe
So ask,
Ask and receive.

Lonely, But Not Alone
  Read: John 16:25-33
You will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. John 16:32
Bible In One Year: Psalms 116-118; 1 Corinthians 7:1-19

Her brief note to me spoke volumes. "I am a handicapped person in a wheelchair," she wrote. "I am very lonely even though I know I'm never alone. God is always there. I don't have a lot of people to talk to."
Loneliness has been termed the most desolate word in the English language. It is no respecter of age, race, economic status, or intelligence. Albert Einstein said, "It is strange to be known so universally, and yet to be so lonely."
God made us for intimacy and companionship with others. Even before sin entered the world, He declared that it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18). That's why many people often feel so empty inside.
Jesus knew loneliness too. He surely must have felt it when His disciples deserted Him (Mark 14:50). The Father's presence more than compensated for this, however. He said, "I am not alone, because the Father is with Me" (John 16:32). That intimacy with the Lord is available to all who put their trust in Him and His Word (14:16-23).
We can lessen our feelings of loneliness by reaching out to others. But even more important, we must reach out to the Lord. He is always with us, and He wants us to fellowship with Him throughout the day. Dennis De Haan

When we are feeling all alone
And no one seems to care,
 We must remember: Jesus said
That He is always there. Sper
Those who know Jesus are never alone.
