It seems that people are quickly labled "troll" around here and then castigated and banished for eternity.
I challenge you, if your cause is worthy and you are half as clever as you think you are, to no longer think of these antagonists as trolls but potential freepers.
Convert them! Reason with them. Just a little bit, maybe???
You guys yell "troll" more than a liberal cries "racist". That should tell you something.
If you are unable to convert a "troll" or two, maybe there is something substantially wrong. Maybe your not all that you're ZOTTED up to be.

I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, can't prove anything.
Anyway, I've never been to England.
Yet.

What, pray tell, is a Chinese yo-yo?
And while I'm asking questions completely irrelevant to this thread, what happened to "the thread that would not die?"

A chinese yo-yo is a rollof paper on a stick.
When you shake it, like one of those police extend-a-batons, it extends outward.
Wickedly painful if it hits you in the eyes.
The Undead Thread?
Troll sightings have been sporadic and second by second, so RKBA central may have been superceded by snapshot pings on the fly from the place of the troll sighting.
At least for now.
AND until after the hurricane is done pounding the snot out of the US East Coast area.
A good portion of us are sitting in spots in the storm's sights.

Batten down the hatches then, and I'll be sending good thoughts to you all. STAY SAFE, East-Coast FReepers!
As for me here in South-East Queensland... well, this week marked the start of what looks to be a very long, very scary bushfire season. Our place was so close to one yesterday that we could smell smoke, even with all the windows closed. (As someone who lived through the horrific "Ash Wednesday" bushfires that killed 66 people in Victoria and South Australia in the summer of 82-83, I have a particular horror of bushfires.)
So, looks like things are bad all over. Back to the newsdesk - this has been Kangaroo Jacqui, RKBA reporter, editorialising from Australia, on ZOT! News. ("We report. Then we pave".)

Ouch, brush fires.
Got to see the local fire departments and park service guys burn down dozens of acres of land in uncontrolled controlled burns.
Rain and wind is supposedly hitting my area around 1 AM my time according to one weather station.
Others are saying 4 or 5 AM.
Sometimes I wonder if these guys predict the weather based off flipping a coin.
I'm not so worried myself at the moment.
I'll worry when lightning starts blowing stuff up again.
*chuckle*
Good luck out your way as well, It's the dry season your way(?)

Correct. Then again, last "wet season" (summer in the subtropics) we didn't get much rain either. Which is why this bushfire season is going to be particularly long, particularly harsh, and very taxing on all concerned.
Sometimes I wonder if these guys predict the weather based off flipping a coin.
Of course they do! Weather forecasting, like economics and psychiatry, is an "inexact science"... meaning forgive them, for they know not what they are doing. (Ever.)
Sending good weather thoughts your way... KaJac

About as sad as me visiting this site earlier today so I could download Torgo's theme:

Meanwhile I'm watching a rerun of MST3K's Rocketship X-M. I may watch Manos next if I'm still awake. . .

Things is dry all over Australia.
And that's saying something, since we're already the driest continent (not counting Antarctica).
