Ouch, brush fires.
Got to see the local fire departments and park service guys burn down dozens of acres of land in uncontrolled controlled burns.

Rain and wind is supposedly hitting my area around 1 AM my time according to one weather station.
Others are saying 4 or 5 AM.
Sometimes I wonder if these guys predict the weather based off flipping a coin.
I'm not so worried myself at the moment.
I'll worry when lightning starts blowing stuff up again.
*chuckle*

Good luck out your way as well, It's the dry season your way(?)

Correct. Then again, last "wet season" (summer in the subtropics) we didn't get much rain either. Which is why this bushfire season is going to be particularly long, particularly harsh, and very taxing on all concerned.

Of course they do! Weather forecasting, like economics and psychiatry, is an "inexact science"... meaning forgive them, for they know not what they are doing. (Ever.)

Sending good weather thoughts your way... KaJac
