Wow, I'm scared. My very young liberal co-worker just told me she's going to vote, and her hubby, who did not vote last time is going to vote this year. She was upset that there are no dems running for rep in her district.
I think bringing up some of the issues I have brought up has made her more interested in political issues, but only the liberal side of them.
We were talking about the upcoming vote on the proposed downtown area and bringing business back to downtown. She seemed to have circular arguements, and when I pointed it out she said, "no it's not,". She always right with other things too, think that comes from being raised by a drug-addicted mother who was a nurse, she probably had to raise herself. Because I did not want to argue with her anymore, when she asked me what I would put downtown, I just said, "I don't know."
*sigh*

Never encourage a lib to vote. I say things like, "All my conservative friends are jumping ship and voting lib because Bush didn't send all the illegal immigrants home. I guess I'll just stay home because it looks like Kerry has it."
