SNUFF

I’m a man
I’m a man
I’m a real to date, live and true cowhand.

I can ride, rope, flank calves and do anything a good hand can do;
But when I don’t have that little can of snuff— I aint that tough!

It’s a weakness I can’t prevail.
When I don’t have it everything goes to hell!

My horse won’t trot!
My blood start’s to clot!
My lip quakes!
My body shakes, I get earaches!

I go blind, and start to lose my mind!
My stomach goes queasy, I’m tellin you boys I aint easy !!

One time I quit for three days, I went into a solitary haze.
I just wondered around out in the horse lot , until an angel from above-
My best friend, found me.
Immediately he started CPR (COWBOY PULMONARY REVITALIZATION.)

Whooped out a can of snuff, shoved in my lower lip,
which was already on the ground,
And hauled me to town !
Not to the hospital, or the emergency room, but to the local grocery store,
For my very own roll of snuff.

I can rope and tie down wild cattle all day long.
I can build fence from dusk till dawn.

But when I’m out of snuff,
I’m like a baby fawn.

John Edwards is a parasite,
He lives off other’s loss.
John Kerry has so little charm,
I’d liken him to moss.
Howard Dean is special though,
I really like that scream.
Too bad he scared the democrats,
He’ll never reach his dream.
Of course he throws all his support,
To Kerry Edwards now.
The three of them all make me laugh,
I try to anyhow.
I pray that I’ll be laughing still,
Come this November Third.
As they all fade from public view,
The Lawyer, Doctor, Nerd.

I see your fingers work as well as mine! I always give the benefit of the doubt to people who post with typos, especially when they're obviously honest mistakes. I've seen FReepers barf on those typos, and that's just plain wrong.
