No, victim you are not. LE's plaything maybe - at least on the weekends? My weekend appears to be sanding and painting. I am trying now to pry myself away from my computer to get it started.....

No, they come in a box with a cellophane panel so that you can see the Krispy Kremes. Caution: it takes agility, persistence and plain hard work to get six Krispy Kremes into your mouth at once. I'd suggest that you get four or five dozen Krispy Kremes and practice, practice, practice.

I believe DDs and KKs are identical. At least it's an open question that needs scientific testing, and a lot of it, soon.

Everyone has their own personal way to drink coffee. Being a minimalist, I like mine black. Sometimes I even leave the water out!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. —Romans 15:13

When we are weak and in despair,
Our mighty God is near;
He'll give us strength and joy and hope,
And calm our inner fear.

No one is hopeless whose hope is in God.

:-)

Hmm, if you get the kind with a whole hole in them and splay your fingers out, you should be able to stack three doughnuts per finger for three fingers of each hand = A DOZEN AND A HALF Krispy Kremes or Dunkin Doughnuts, as long as they are the kind with a whole hole, leaving a thumb and a finger in each hand to carry the two cups of coffee. That will improve your efficiency 50%!

Or, you can buy 'em by the sack and bring home fifty dozen or as many as you can lift.

New Hope

Read: Romans 15:5-13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. —Romans 15:13

Bible In One Year: 1 Chronicles 13-15; John 7:1-27

Grant Murphy of Seattle was the active type, a man who ran at full throttle. Idling and coasting were not in his nature. "One might even call him hyperactive," recalled a dear friend.

Then multiple sclerosis began to slow Grant down. First he needed crutches to get around. Then he was limited to sitting in a chair. Finally he was confined to a bed.

Near the end, he was hardly strong enough to talk. His friend recalls, however, that "he expressed only joy and thankfulness with a constant anticipation of being in the Lord's presence." Not long before he died, Grant whispered Romans 15:13 to a friend. He repeated the words "in believing," then added, "I can't do anything now."

It's when we can't do anything that God does everything. And herein lies a profound paradox of the Christian's experience. Faith is simultaneously an exercise of our will and the impartation of divine strength. And from that marvelous mixture spring joy and peace and an abundance of hope.

Are you in a totally helpless situation? Strength gone? All options exhausted? If you have trusted Jesus as your Savior, God will strengthen you to keep on believing. As you trust Him, He'll give you not only joy and peace, but also hope when all hope is gone. —Dennis De Haan

When we are weak and in despair,
Our mighty God is near;
He'll give us strength and joy and hope,
And calm our inner fear. —Sper

No one is hopeless whose hope is in God.

A Tribute to:-

Those Ladies in the kitchen,
The ones you never see,
Who always are so busy
Making us a cup of tea.

No matter what the function,
Or, no matter where it be,
You will always find those women
Who are willing to make the tea.

And when the functions over,
There is cleaning up, you see!!
And who will do it this time?
OF COURSE !!!!

The ladies who made the tea.

3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
