Hope you had a fun day!! I did. But now I am exhausted! It takes a lot of energy to be an eight year old all day.

There once was a man who loved the moon
He was sure that wed live there soon
So he cleared his pocket
Purchased a rocket
And shortly arrived there at noon

Clearly, there is your problem. Where the "L" were you looking?(Typos are the undocumented workers of underground humor.)
I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! Between this post and my unfortunate misspelling of Lik-M-Aid over on the Finest thread, my sides are killing me!

Limerick Day
What kind of poet,
Would not want to show it?
On Limerick day,
That would bring things his way,
So how in the world could he ...
... um, er ... Hmmm

Hi Amy. Have you read about the guy who was beheaded by the terrorists? It makes me sick.
Well, here is some good news
something the liberals hate:
After what most pundits would consider a week from hell for the President, a new poll conducted since the Iraqi prisoner scandal indicates that Bush has widened his lead over John Kerry. The Investor's Business Daily/TIPP polled 981 adults May 2 8 (after the scandal broke) and learned that Bush leads Kerry 46% - 41%, with Ralph Nader garnering 5%. Without Nader, the President leads 47% - 44%. Bush is leading Kerry 49% - 40% in swing states. Among independent voters, it is a statistical dead heat with the President at 40% and Kerry at 39%. "Despite a tough month, Bush seems to have come out ahead," said Raghavan Mayur, president of TIPP, a unit of TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence and IBD's polling partner. "Bush's ratings have improved among 15 of the 21 demographic groups we track."
Another big factor in Bush's favor is voter intensity. 68% of Bush's supporters strongly support him while only 38% of Kerry's supporters strongly support him. The poll also indicates that Bush's advertising in swing states has made a real difference. In late April, Kerry was leading the President 45% - 41%. He now trails Bush 51% - 36%. LINK

I've been listening to the news but I cover my eyes. I don't want to see it. I don't think they will show it without warning but I haven't taken any chances.
That is very good news about the TIPP poll. I cannot understand why anyone would vote for Kerry. You can tell he has no substance!!
Thanks for sharing the poll info with us.

On Limerick day I did ponder.
What rhyme will I write I did wonder.
While rubbing my chin.
I stared at my pin.
Oh why is my pad over yonder.
That is the best I can do without using Nantucket.
