Prophet Mohammed Was A Lunatic, Just Like Al-Sadr

If you want to understand the roots of the violence in Iraq, you need to go to the very begining. The violent cult that was founded by Mohammed in the 7th century, teaches Muslims to hate non-Muslims, for any reason, or for no reason at all.
It is notable that many leaders in Muslim countries over the years, have always claimed descent from Prophet Mohammed. Kings like Hussein of Jordan and Hassan of Morrocco, claimed to be direct descendants of the prophet. Almost every prominent Islamic cleric makes the same claim. So do the Kings of Saudi Arabia, and the other royal families of the Middle East.
Saddam Hussein had for years claimed to be a descendant of the prophet, but that claim was recently discovered to be false. But that does not matter. Saddam, in his genocidal lunancy, is certainly a spiritual son of the mad prophet Mohammed.
Until the sick cult of Islam is abolished in the Middle East, and the fanaticism inherited from the mad prophet Mohammed is rejected, democracy can never work in the Middle East.

The Iraqi Shia mullah, al-Sadr, is not disobeying his faith. he is being fiathful to the example set by his fanatical role model, the Prophet Mohammed.

Any thoughtful person who knows history and religion would be anti-Islam. Along with Communism, Naziism, and the Black Death, Islam has been responsible for more death and destruction on the face of the planet than just about anything else since the last asteroid impact. Islam was started by predators. It has spread by predation. It has lived off the decaying corpses of the civilizations it has destroyed. It is a vast, ancient sea of corruption, oppression, fanaticism, and ignorance lapping up against the shores of the present, kept alive by the fortuitous accident of living above huge reserves of petroleum.

Complements on clear thoughts, elegantly stated. Have you read H. Belloc on Islam?

What a boon for socialists: to demonize Muslims to the Christians, and demonize Christians to the Moors.
Then the atheists can inherit the Earth.

It's funny you say "lunatic," when the root of the word is "luna," Latin for moon, since the symbol of Islam is the moon.

I would rather live in a socialist government, than live in an Islamic government. Do you know what happens to non-Muslims in Islamic states?

Yes, both definitions apply.
The Islamic faith has its roots in the worship of the moon god, who was worshipped by pre-Islamic pagan Arabs.
Islam is not part of the Judeo-Christian tradition.

When discussing Mohammad, one should always point out that Mohammad was a slave master who owned hundreds of slaves. Why American Blacks turn to Islam is beyond me.

They are not very well educated about history or world affairs. That is why they turn to Islam.

"I would rather live in a socialist government, than live in an Islamic government. " So you want Christians and Muslims to kill each other off so the socialists can take over.
It's an age-old strategy: "let's you and him fight!"

Here's what I don't understand:
The liberals are always saying that radicals do not represent "true Islam." Why, then, are the liberal press continuing to call al-Sadr a "cleric?" He's clearly a radical and, if so, obviously not representative of true Islam. Therefore, he can't *really* be a "cleric."
Blatant hypocrisy, if you ask me.

Mahomet (an older, alternate form of the name) was also a pedophile, having married one of his wives when she was 6 or so and having consummated the marraige when she was 9!

I use to think that Islam was a religion of peace. I was naive. Let me be the first to admit that I was wrong.
Islam is showing itself as nothing more than a cult of massive historical proportions. No one - let me repeat that - NO ONE - from the Muslim community has openly condemned the murders last week of the four American civilians who were in country to help the Iraqi people rebuild their nation after decades of neglect under Saddam. The best they can come up with is to condemn the mutilations as it isn't "tradition." All in a similar vein to 9/11 when none of the Islamic leaders here or overseas was able to bring themselves to simply condemn the terrorist attacks. The statements that they did put out for public consumption were always qualified or toned down in some manner. Maybe there are exceptions, but they are in the smallest of minorities.
We need to recognize that we are only in the early stages of a war of civilizations. And this war - a true World War - must be won completely and decisively by us. It will take years and great sacrifice, but we must prevail.
